...who only uses their cell phone in the car? I leave my cell phone in the car and only turn it on when driving.

I assume I am in the minority by doing this.

I tried that for a while until I got heck from the wife. She took it as an attempt to avoid her. Been carrying my phone around to "keep the peace" since that "conversation". :(

On the course, the phone is set on silent and stuck in the bag. That way I know who called during the round and if I'm attacked by some killer bees, I can call for help.

Yup, you are the only one that I know of.

And folks, all this was started because of my email to Gerry this morning.

"Sorry I'm not in the car right now, but if ya leave yer name and number I'll call ya right back"

How can you call me back RIGHT AWAY, if yer damn phone is in the CAR. They are made portable for a reason ya know....and it's not like your phone is a brick, albeit it's a girlie-looking flip phone. :p

I have to carry my cell everywhere as its a support phone. I have special arrangments with my employer that it doesn't come out on the golf course.

Dude I don't work in the industry and get access to different new modern phones every 2nd week...if you don't like my girlie-looking flip phone then get me a great deal on something you approve of :D

I can't find one with buttons as big as your desktop calculator that you like, so you are SOL in that dept.

I assume I am in the minority by doing this. I'm the same, except I only turn it on to make an outgoing call.

There is a difference between temple and golf course? In my religion there is only one.

Oh Great and Supreme being, Please make this putt go in the hole!

On another note, had this twosome in front of me at Cherry Downs yesterday. This guy took a call at the tee box, then took another call right by the green. I was literally standing in the fairway waiting for him to finish the call as he has his club in this hand by the green side bunker, completely oblivious to other people. His smart playing partner was waiting for him to get on the green before putting. So after waiting for a while, I purposely dumped my approach on the left greenside bunker (he's on the right side) just to send a message. Do I need anger management classes?
