Ball park is around 40-50.

Nice....yet another thread on TGN that I shouldn't participate in, as I run the risk of being banned from stuff at home if the wife finds out.

But let's just say I've got Gerry beat.

I did plan to do a count this year but somehow didn't get around to it, that or I was too afraid to know how much I'd spent by the end of the year...

Let's just say I've played more than Howie and less than Scott!

My count is in the 40's right now and it's all weekend play aside from a Myrtle Beach trip in February and a Michigan trip in May, both were a week long.

I enter my stats and scores at Last Minute Golfer so I know what my numbers are. For some reason, in June I only played one round...

No Disrespect but you remind me of a lot of the people that have boats or cottages. They force themselves to do the same thing every weekend to make it worth their while. I don't know, but as much as I like golf, I can't make myself to play everyday. I've got way too much other stuff I can do. I think 2 to 3 rounds max per week is a good balance for me.

Sort of the same I guess!
I feel as if by 4 pm in the summer If I'm not teeing off I've wasted a Golf Day.

By October I'm wondering why I bother! but still do it.

Likely an illness that will eventually be recognized similar to gambling or alcoholism.

Wow good to read that there are so many hardcore golfers! I had a lot more rounds last year around mid to high 20s. This year had too many expenses, bought a new car, new condo, got married, attended lots of family's weddings, etc. so I think I only played about 10 rounds. I'm hoping to sneak in a couple more before the season is over though.
