Raycroft starting?

Listening to Sportsnet's Hockey at Noon broadcast and they're reporting that Raycroft is starting tonight. They bring in Toskala and pay him huge dollars ($8 million?) and he's not starting? What kind of message does that send to Toskala? "You're almost ready to start, maybe on the weekend"

Or even what does that tell Raycroft? "You're almost good enough to be our #1 guy with 37 wins last season but we kinda like this other guy better, but he had a poor preseason so you're #1 on opening night"


Worst thing about the whole Raycroft/Toskola topic is listening to Kypreos, he's gotta be the worst homer in broadcasting.

As a HUGE Leafs fan here, all I have to say is....who cares?
It's Ottawa, they could start Terry "freakin" Sawchuck in net (by using a sophisticated time machine...the same one that makes Leafs fans believe it's 1968, and they're gonna repeat) and the result will probably be the same...Ottawa wins....BIG. (fingers crossed they don't)
