Correction on the date. Its Monday July 11 and its for the World Record of Golf. They are trying to have over 590 golfers through a 24hr window. Golfing starts at 518am and ends at 518am on Tuesday July 12th. You can only bring a 7 iron, PW and putter. That way, more people can be on each hole at a time and pace can move consistantly. They are also playing glow in the dark golf in the night. Fun eh? You can do it for only $25 and be in the record books.

Yeah, I corrected the date in my header but for some reason it doesn't correct when posted in the forum.

Anyways, you may be correct about the night time golf with glow in the dark balls, but it's normal golf, ie you get your full set of clubs. I just called to find out.

But it's a moot point now unfortunately because all the tee times are booked.

My friend who works there literally just called me now and told me the place is fairly empty at this moment. If you want to golf at Angus for 25 bucks, the time is now!!!!!!!

You can only bring a 7 iron, PW and putter.

can't enjoy the round like that, even if the course is empty!

Just got back from the course. You can bring your full set of clubs and play a normal round. It was painful though cause the course is NOT meant for walking, and in this heat, I was dying by the end.

But again, can't complainabout $25 for angus and it's a very worthwhile cause. I still think they need more people to beat the guiness book of records, and they'll let you play with glow in the dark balls, so if you want, you should still head out!
