If only I were the Owner / coach / coach.
First, I would demote Deveroux (sp?), Battaglia, and Newbury
Second, I would back a bus over Kubina
Third, I would move Kaberle to the Centre position, with Ian White on left wing, and McCabe on right.
I would put Belak back on defence, promote Jay Harrison, and Anton Strahlman, and to round out the defence staff, Coliaccovo would be re-inserted after coming back off his injury.
I think Kaberle, and McCabe are at best....lousy defencemen. However if Kaberle played centre with his puck handling, and passing he could make shooters out of McCabe, and the speedy White. McCabe, and Kaberle could still play the point on the PP, and maybe they could be a decent 3rd line, and possibly a shut down defensive forward line.
Oh yah, and I accidentally inhaled gas fumes earlier.
