Played there today, was a mixed bag of weather but was fun. Whats the deal on the 7th hole? They have the green shut and no word of a lie, they have the flag on the furthest most tee box and call it a green!!!! 77 yards it said. I thoughti t was a joke, but could see no flag on the actual green. Can't imagine what could be on that green, but playing a par 3 77 yards to a tee box and trying to putt is a bit rediculous, especially since the tee box was cut...welll... like a tee box. CRAZY

I think they could've done better for a temp green, no doubt about it. But the finished product will be an excellent golf hole.

The story, BTW, is that some governing body (not sure which one) told them the former lower tier of the green was too narrow. So it's all about widening that part of the green (and inserting a new bunker on the right, by the looks of it).

Had a strange experience on that hole a few years back. A 4some in front of mine all hit their tee shots on the green (the farthest was about 15 feet). All 4 lined up their putts from both sides (waiting for their turn of course) before addressing the ball. All 4 missed, even the guy who was about 2 feet from the hole. My point.....it took them a total of 18 minutes to putt out! I don't know how much money was on each hole, but it must have been a bundle!:cookoo:

By the way, we passed them when they made the turn and stopped for beer. Next time we saw them, they were on 15 and we were leaving the course!
