Howie,

You're right, this is a very good scorecard/tracking tool. Well done mate!

One important factor that does not appear to be included on this score card is if you hit the fairway with your tee shot.

Is this something that can be posted up on this site (eg Excel worksheet)? I don't want to sign up and then have my email account spammed to death.

You don't have to sign up for anything to view their score card.

Yea I agree Fairways hit is 1 obvious omission. Other things seem to be nice to track down and analyze your game.

I spent all of 5 minutes today working on a similar spreadsheet. Not too hard to do on Excel, it has 2 scorecards that print out on one sheet. Just fold and tear or cut with scissors.

PM if you'd like a copy.

Hi,
Looks good, but 10 minutes in an Excel sheet is cheaper than 74 bucks.

Personally, I can't see how these types of things help.

Doesn't everyone already know the weaknesses and strengths of their own games?

Spend the time practicing instead of keeping stats and you will improve more:D

I agree. I already made a spreadsheet that tracks all this with all the neat little charts/graphs and stuff. Very easy, plus if you know a little bit of how to use excel you can go even further into your record keeping.

This looks pretty cool. Could you email to me or post it here for download. I know excel but this seems like really nice work.

You would be surprised what you learn from tracking stats. Of course you know your general strenths and weaknesses, however, when you track stats you can pinpoint more precisely where your weaknesses are so you can work on those specific areas to improve.
