Maybe something in BC?

Otherwise you're looking into the States and I didn't think the coupon was good in the States. However, I could be wrong.

I think you're out of luck for courses on the PrivPlay list being open in Ontario.

I ask you the same question then. Have you been outside? Clearly the few days then went above freezing was a misnomer and we are no doubt still heading for much colder weather. For the most part the courses you are referring to tend to be open weather permitting through the year. The are not your best courses as letting people play now will no doubt affect condition come the real season. Privplay generally have nice courses and these guys aren't going to worry a few hundred bucks for a few days and risk getting their courses all damaged.

You could go to Islington and hack one around. Islington is a public park in the winter (to get lower tax rates). I'm not sure they would take kindly to someone making divots but you can just claim ignorance.

Are you being serious? Or you're another smart @s$?

All I asked was if anyone know any courses on the privplay listing that are open still. A siple yes or no would have been greatly appriciated.

Can this thread please be closed. I'll just call the course to find out myself.

That's interesting I didn't know that. Doesn't the course get beat up? I sold a house on Perry that backed right on to the course and it sure looked like a nice track.

Geez, get along with people much?

Not too many people know about it. Just a few locals out for walks. I've never seen anyone hitting balls. I wonder what would be the reaction. I bike along the cart paths occasionally.

Why would a private course be open in January?

Unless you were a member you wouldnt get on anyway. Go Public- Halton as a few.

Now its freezing cold, but weather permitting I'm really only familiar with the West End for Winter Golf. This winter I've sat out, way to painful.
Granit Ridge Milton- ( quite a few in Halton area), Indian Wells, Deerfield,Camisle
Niagara Falls quite a few, New York State if the snow is gone, Rochester quite a few.
4 seasons to the east, I'm not too sure of the east but there must be more.
Usually cheaper courses that pick up revenue in the winter, these are the tracks that aren't thought of much in the summer. They also tend to be open till Christmas, a bit in Jan, then again in March. Jan- March seems to be shut down except for Camisle and the 4 seasons- 9 holes on either and really not worth it.

I would say Granite Ridge in Milton is the best, problem is they don't take calls on the phone. Its word of mouth you drive out to Milton and see if the flags are up. Run in pay 22 bucks and head to the tee. Last year it was Granite Ridge, all through Nov, Dec, and into January a bit.
