I played there on Thursday at 9:30. 9 holes in less than 90 minutes. Noonw ahead of me. Lost a few balls in the snow, saved 2 that bounced off the water hazards. Fun in January.

My neighbour made the only ace of his life in a few years back at 4 Seasons by bouncing the ball over the frozen pond and into the jar.

I'm thinking YES! Haven't you ever had a ball skip across a pond to end up on th green or fairway?

It's just water! At this time of year, you could use those frozen ponds to your advantage. Then again, if someone's accurate enough to plan a shot off the frozen pond, they shouldn't need it!;)

I like the idea of it being open but I won't play there it cost too much $25 for 9 holes and $15 for another 9 after.

I called them and almost laugh on the phone when the guy told me the green fee.
We drove to niagara golf course on the weekend to play for $21. For the most part the course is wet but the greens are in great shape.

At the risk of losing all credibility, I will say that I like 4 Seasons. I am not a long hitter and I like the elevation changes. In non-winter, it can be quite scenic, not busy mid-week and not too expensive. And they have the nuttiness to stay open in winter. I would be interested in more detail on the faults of this course, if only for my own education.

I agree it can be scenic and there are some interesting holes, but it's an executive golf course based on it's length. There are also far too many holes where you can cut corners and take 100's of yards off the distance of the overall course. It is however a perfect place to hold a company scramble golf tournament because you can finish in about 3 to 3 1/2 hours and there aren't many places like that in the GTA. Finally, you don't have to worry about other people's opinions because if you enjoy it, that's all that matters.

In all honesty, 4 Seasons isn't that bad, I just like bugging Howie cause he loves it so much :D . I've actually played in a couple of tournaments there many, many years ago and it was run pretty well.
As for their insanity to open year round, I just think their cash grab of $25 for 9 holes is a little over the top. Again, just my opinion...

I know what you mean man when they told me how much it was my jaw almost hit the floor. I'm sorry I don't care if it's one of the only open courses in January there is no way I would pay $25 bucks to play 9 holes. I wouldn't even pay that in the summer for 9 holes at that course.

.
I take my newbie golfer Bro-inlaws there once or twice a year as an upgrade from Spring Creek. They enjoy it very much and I get to pull the driver a couple of times and treat the rest as short game work (which I need big time!). So leave Howie alone on 4 seasons!! If you want to pick on him, ask him about HY-Hope Farms !

Actually, it's not THAT bad considering that they want 25 for 9 and 35 for 18 at Camisle ... I have never been to Four Seasons but I am willing to bet it is WAY nicer than the bombed out "fairways" at Camisle.
And dont even get me started on the pirate ship ...
