NEW TO golf nut member

Hello All

Just joined last night after spending the evening reading the discussion threads. I think this forum is exactly what I've been looking for.

I have been golfing for 3 years now. I joined Weston when I started, and get out at least once a week, usually 9 holes after work.

How's this for having horse shoes up my .... I got two holes-in-one in the same season on the same hole, yet I havent broken a 100.

I look forward to visiting the site often.

After reading about the 2 holes in 1 in one years yeah iam starting to not like you,i was just wondering to all the other members who hav'nt been so lucky as to have a hole in 1 .. whats the closest that you've come ? personally i have been 2 feet from the pin.

Two years ago in the Toronto Real Estate Board tournament at Mandarin, I lipped out and ended 2 inches beside the hole. Here's the killer. It was for a brand new Chrysler 300 and it was sitting on the tee.
Here's nice hole in one story, my dad who passed away 10 years ago made an ace at a little track called Newcastle. My mom got permission to spread his ashes over the green and she donated a bench on the tee with a plaque honoring his ace.

Very typical behavior from owners of smaller mom and pop shop golf courses. They treat you more like friends than customers.
