I recently found out that my cousin is the pro there. (Go figure!)

Just curious if anyone has played there and what they thought. I'm going to have to plan a trip out that way (between Sarnia and London) this summer to check the course out.

I played there last July, the course is pretty good, a bit soggy at the time I played following a few days of rain prior to my visit. It is pretty open and can be difficult with a strong wind which is what we endured.
The course has some holes that are visually intimidating but there is quite a bit of room off the tee on some of those holes so it plays easier than it looks. The greens were a good speed, certainly not slow by any means. The range and reception at the clubhouse were excellent, I would definitely play it again.

Tony is my cousin.

Very cool, Tony is great. I usually play Sawmill a couple times a year. I'm friends with Marc Bezaire who is the assistant pro and a really great teaching pro.

Sawmill is a links style course. Greens are a great speed and it is pretty challenging with the wind. The wind makes the course play a lot longer than it is. As previous poster said, there are some intimidating holes. There is a dog leg right par 5 with water that is a really nice hole. Clubhouse and pro shop are really nice and they have a really cool pub which I have had my fair share of beers at. Definatly check it out.
