I have never played Oshawa GC. My experience is limited to looking at the holes on their website.

I am looking ahead to playing there at least once this year in a competitive event.

My sense from the website---and therefore could be quite wrong!---is that it is pretty short and pretty tight, with small but not terribly difficult greens. Overall, a reasonable test, but not too difficult.

I would very much appreciate any input from anyone who has experience playing here.

Thanks!

Your sense if pretty accurate. You should enjoy it.

You'll love it. Old time tcourse. Short but loaded with character. It's one of those trracks you walk away from saying "I need another whack at that place and I know I could take 10 shots off my score".

Thanks to both of you.
It sounds good.
May I assume that the greens aren't terribly nasty?

play there a couple times a week usaully, it is an older style course, not too long, you have to position the ball well on some holes, and yes there are some tough greens (13) but it depends on the time of year...

Who's your "in" and how do I get an invite? :D
