I like Inga Hammond. She is professional and knows how to handle questions and interviews, unlike Kelly Tighlman, Megan West, and previous female anchors who were less than impressive. Hammond worked for CNN sports and is an asset to TGC !

I agree. I think Inga is an upgrade from those TGC homegrown 'talents' who when they are not sucking up to Tigers, probably spending time shooting themselves in the feet. Her reporting generally is more in depth than her predecesors.

Agree with you in that they are more "Professional Sport Reporters", but Kelly is/was a collegiate golfer, so she was coming from a different angle. ;)

I like her work, she's very attractive, has a sexy voice, and if nothing else, she's a FAMILIAR voice on The Golf Channel! :)

No doubt she is attractive. But I can't say I have been enamoured with her work on TGC. I thought she was good as a news presenter and did a fairly decent job on "Your Game Night", but she was absolutely awful on the The Sprint Post Game. Kraig Kann is witty, insightful and knowledgable. Kelly was not able to be witty or insightful. She was stiff and could not make on-the-fly adjustments. She is better suited to a scripted environment, hence her success as a golf news anchor . Which brings me to the final straw. Kelly Tighlman as the co-anchor for TGC coverage of the PGA Tour. Nick Faldo is OK, but KT is totally out of her league. Her comments are pointless and repetitive. She is totally unoriginal and can never provide legitimate insight. I can't stand her in this new role. I am not a misogynist - it is simply that KT is not good in her current role. But I leave with where I began, she is attractive.;)

I couldn't be more serious. What exactly are you expecting from The Sprint Post/Pre Game Show? KK does an excellent job. He pokes an apporpriate amount of fun. Asks good questions and is extremely witty. Peter Kessler??? He had a great voice, but I wouldn't consider PK witty or overly intelligent. I agree that most of TGC staff are average at best, but KK is very enjoyable. You are the first person I have heard speak negatively of him. Maybe its time to take a poll here in TGN.:cool:

The problem of golf broadcasting isn't with the personalities but rather with the insistence that it's a very classy game. The networks hired (restrained) staff who will approach the game in a calm gentlemanly fashion. This leads to blandness.

While Miller, Ferherty and McCord stand out as characters among golf reporters, imo, they would hardly stand out, personality wise, within the general population.
