After some research, I found many specialist golf insurance companies, most from the UK, like this one - http://www.golfcare.co.uk/summary.asp, that would provide insurance for any unfortunate situation you may get into on a golf course.
Are there any insurance companies in Canada that offer similar Golf Insurance policy? Thanks!

I guess, nobody here heard about Golf Insurance. Hopefully, I'm not going to hit another car with my ball in upcoming golf season :$

You may not need specific golf insurance. If you have either homeowner's insurance or a tenant's package (if you rent) the insurance typically includes a million dollars personal liability insurance. This will cover you for any personal injury or property damage you cause to anyone. Of course there will be a deductible so the damage would have to be fairly substantial to really engage the coverage.

From everything I've read, you have no liabilty for any damage you cause on a golf course unless it's willfull or negligent. Insurance is not necessary.

Thank you guys. I'm looking for a golf specific insurance because I don't have homeowners insurance, which I heard also includes personal liability coverage.
I can probably look at Personal Liability Umbrella insurance offered in Canada.
Unfortunatelly, you have to be the UK resident to get all these options with worldwide coverage for CA$130 from one of those online golf insurance companies:
1. Personal Liability
2. Third Party Property Damage
3. Golf Equipment
4. Equipment Hire
5. Personal Accident
6. Dental Treatment
7. Hospitalisation
8. Loss of Club Subscription
9. ‘Hole In One’

funny story about 2 years ago i played with a giant, he was about 6'5" and 350 pounds, a nice guy, he bladed his wedge on the 10 hole at rockway and hit a car driving down the road, he asked me what he should do and i really didn't know, the guy got out of his car and was screaming at us for hitting his brand new saturn (thank god it was not a Porsche ) the guy i was playing with started walking over to apologize and this guy saw him coming, and i have never seen anyone jump in the car faster and take off, for the next 4 holes all the guy said was he was going over to say sorry, for anyone who knows the course it truly was a brutal shot, he was 10 yards off the green to the left and flew the green and the fence and smacked the car hard – it was quite funny
