A member recognized my ID and asked if I was the guy That worked at IBM in the early 70's. I am that guy and we haven't seen each other for 35 years. Now it gets better. Around 1972 he took me to his course (Richview) in Oakville ( no longer there) . On the first tee there was a barn way left of the fairway with dents in it and I asked for all to hear how anyone could possibly hit the barn. You guessed it. I hit a dead pull and nailed it. Incredibly we both still remember the story after 35 years and he said he still tells it every now and then. Small world eh?

small world indeed. It would be even funnier if he asked you for the $10 you owed him from that game.

quite the opposite :)
with inflation it wouldnt be a bother...inflation = value of a denomination of money being worth less...i think you mean with interest youd be broke cuz with interest the money owing would be constantly going to a higher value as the months/years passed ;)

Yes, me included. The 100% Club in Freeport during Feb./75 was particularly wild. I played a Willingdon Cup player who worked in the Winnipeg OP office of District I for $1,200 and managed to nip him by one shot.
The District II guys backed me against their District I champ and I received $300. :D

Why oh why do we always blame the Semantics? You would think in today's era of political correctness that this would be a thing of the past? :p
