Hi, i was wondering about the set that got called out as fake.
Shafts and everything do you believe? They look very good if that was the set you would get.
Anyone findout for sure?
The guy sure had a wierd assortment of fake stuff. Not one feedback pertaining to anything fake.
Bunch of Scotties with COAs and original B. Grace putters etc... strange

They have no morals, they will fake anything they can lay their hands on.
Tainted dog food, toothpaste and today fake cigs, right down to the warning labels.
They will be the ruin of us.

Those pics were definitely those of authentic mizuno's.. no doubt about that. ... i am of course the mizuno hoe of all mizuno hoe's :cookoo: .... but calling him out on the pics is Bogus..
Thanks to the fact that most tgn members(or AKA sherlocks) think they can solve anything after watching a few episodes of CSI ...they were able to investigate and see all the ebay listings of similar specs which would leave someone to believe they are fakes... Job well done....
I would agree these may be fakes solely on the fact that this guy has multiple listings on ebay... what he sends you may not be what you see inthe pics......
aDDItionally, i would not buy these without giving them a visual inspection or try.. anybody who knows anything about clubs and forgings would know right away if these were fake, after a couple of pokes or chips onthe driving range...
ON a side note who in there right mind would pay 1000 for mp37's??? i cant even get 500 for my legit mp-67's ( http://www.torontogolfnuts.com/showthread.php?t=23400&highlight=mizuno) around here lol...
If anyone calls these fakes.. then you have problems...

If you're talking about the MP60's that were being sold for about $400 last summer, they werent' fake but I found out they were probably stolen off the assembly line right before serial numbers were engraved on them. I even called a Mizuno rep that I knew and asked him if he's heard or seen any Mizuno knockoffs and he did not. The clubs were even checked out by a club fitter and verified as real. Hope this was the set you were talking about.

I will say it again... whenever you even think product is suspect then have it shipped USPS only!!
This will make it a federal offence if goods are not as described.

I agree but all the positive feedback and accepting paypal through ebay seems fairly legit. Plus some of his stuff is used and not woth much if anything at all anyway? Maybe part of the scam but very well could be real.
If I lived in BC i would chekc them out.

Since when did the word "they" become racists?
Anyone who directly copies another product and produces it for less after someone spent time and money developing a product is going to be the ruin of us.
Oh and by the way Dan if you have a particular race in mind that allows you to accuse me of being a racist then I think you might look at yourself in the mirror., BTW you are officially off my X-Mas list.

Fake's I have seen lots of them. Mizuno is just one brand, the most popular is Calloway and Talor Made. You can a whole set + Tour bag in China for as little as $300.00. And it is starting to get into the Shaft World as well. Fake Mitsubishi Diamana and UST. EBAY= Buyer Beware!!!!!

The "tainted dog food", remark leads me to believe this could be a racist remark. After all what does "tainted dog food" have to do with forging?

there has been some Editing by members, so perhaps you didn't see what was said originally....not really worth repeating, and we don't really need to rehash those days....

I am going to call Mizuno with the serial numbers and see. I think they are real. I have a friend in BC not far from where the guy says he is located and see if he can check them out. For $700 if real, its a great deal.
A lot of the fake stuff are over runs from the actual factories that are contacted to make the products or are stolen from the warehouse.

Merlot,
I've been in touch with the seller and his stance was that he mistakenly made multiple posts on ebay. These club may indeed be real but I would just caution anyone that might be interested. Checking the serial number is the first step.
