I went to the Scarboro dome yesterday to see Ian Hale and when I got there the dome was just a heap of canvas lying on the ground. I didn't ask, but only can assume it collapsed from the weight of the snow. I wish I had a cel phone to take a picture but I didn't. Pretty awesome sight, and not necessarily in a good way.

Was at Markham Golf Dome yesterday and that seemed just fine. BTW I have heard they are trying to be operational by middle of the week.

Sure glad I got these gift certificates for Xmas. The sign on the door says it's closed for repairs. I never would have figured that out! Here's a picture of the pancake.

Wow, I guess no one was inside? Could be dangerous?

Ya I would imagine it would come down in a big hurry and would have some serious heft to it. I suspect a great deal of the structual problems came about from the booming drives I was bouncing off the back wall.:D

Actually, I drove a ball straight through the canvas and it deflated in less than 15 minutes! Sorry to all those that practice there:D

I remember talking a few years ago to the guy that owned it and he said in high winds they incresaed the air pressure to make the structure more stable.
