Anybody else who wears reading glasses getting tired of the small print scorecards? It's a major pain to have to put the glasses on and off to check distances and scores. How about a large print version of the scorecard. By the way the only good thing is that when we play with younger people, I tell them my glasses are in the car and they have to keep score.
PS: Consider this idea now patented. No poaching:nono:

I'm 46 and my buddy that is 53 pulls that all the time, I either need to get to the eye doctor or I'm hitting it further than I used to.
I may explore laser srgery as it seems my depth perception is not what it used to be.
You watch a shot telling it to get down and it falls in the front bunker.

I'm the opposite, I need my glasses for Driving/Long Irons, but I can not read greens/or scorecards with my glasses on!

Note...though Lasik WILL PROBABLY cure, or at least improve your distance vision, you will more than likely need reading glasses after the surgery...some fine print you should be aware of.

I can't remember how many reading glasses I've lost out on the course just because I wanted to see how I was doing. After reading what happened to Kevin Na after Lasik surgery, I'm sticking with glasses thank you!

I have officially joined the club and had to get readers this winter. Didn't have any issues last summer but will bring them just in case.

If you google "kevin na laser surgery" there is an article, his surgery left him at 20/100 he tried some contact lenses and they seem to help.

It was a lot of thought before I bought the Callaway readers. Turned out to be one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. They have lasted a year so far without a scratch or losing them. That made up for all the $5 ones I have lost or scratched.

Just got my first reading glasses last fall. Now I can't live without them. I don't read score cards. The score for the first hole goes in the first box, the score for the second hole in the second box. Not the one below the first box, the one to its right, and so on .... This technique works very well.:D :D

I was about 45 before I realized I needed longer arms to read. Went cheap for a couple of years, dollar-store cheap, then finally got tested and ended up with progressives. (Tri-focals if you like, but no lines showing.)
I was smart enough to get another pair of distance-only glasses for golf (and long drives). As for reading scorecards, no, I can't either.
You get by.

Can't read my scorecard for s**t up close but I can see a fly on a leaf from 100 yards away.
Got prescription reading glasses and I highly recommend as typically each of your eyes is slightly different. Off the shelf cheapies can cause dizziness or headaches when used for long periods of time.
