How long has hea had this new wand? His putting hasn't been as good as last year I believe stat wise.

It looks like some kind of milled nike deal.

Waiting for Tiger to make the switch. I believe the only club left to be nike is his Million dollar putter. It woul dbe great if he put it up for auction with all proceeds to charity. It may go for a million or more.

Maybe. I didn;t get a good look. It is a different hosel and perimeter weighted head then his usual. Looked like a plumbers hosel and Anser Newport like.

I dunno, I bet Cameron is paying Tiger a lot to keep using his putter. Nike should have been able to copy it by now. If Tiger switches it would really hurt the Cameron business.

Supposedly he has tried a few Nike putters when practicing. I don't think its the money. Tiger is loyal.

I and many others have tried to ask Cameron the specs on Tiger and other guys but he doesn't divulge anything. Specially regarding Tiger.

Tiger is one of the most capitalistic people in the world.
If not he would still be using the same brands he grew up with.

I don't think there is any way that Nike can make a replica of his putter right now... Scotty can't even make a copy for him. Tiger is so particular about his putter that Scotty has made close to 100 putters for Tiger to have as a back-up and he still hasn't been able to make one that give Tiger the exact sound/feel etc., or at least close enough for him to be confident.

I can't see Tiger switching in the near future... look at how much money Nike throws at him, if he hasn't switched yet, i don't see it happening.

he is using the same irons he did when he started on the tour, they just now have a Nike symbol on them instead of a Mizuno.

Do you mean that they are the same exact design or they are the exact same iron set he has used for 12 years? Curious. I assume replicas as they would get refinished, worn out, lose alot of head weight etc...

Regarding putters, I agree but Scotty can't duplicate the putter because he didn't make it.(bettinardi)It's all in his head I believe as far as an exact duplicate but its his head. He heeds to be in control of everything and this is a show of power and be in control and making decisions. Psych 101. Its for himself, no one else. It coincides with how he runs his life/business/charites or tremendous tax shleters/right offs.

Charitable foundations only need to donate 5% of their take by law adn reciepts/expenses are not scrutinized as much as they should. Some big stories regarding Nascar drivers but noone important seems to care. Guess because everyone important is doing it.

Are you sure he's still using Mizunos? I know he was even after signing with Titelist, but I thought he switched to Nike irons five or six years ago.

There would be something unethical about misrepresenting someone else's clubs by putting a Nike logo on them.

On further review ...

Yes, Tiger is using Nike irons and has been for several years. If he's using Mizunos with a Nike logo, he's fooling Nike -- in this press release from just after the Buick, it lists him as using Nike blades.

He switched to Nike irons in 2002.

I think he meant that hey are replicas made by/for Nike though it seemed like he meant th eexact same irons as we were talking about the exact same putter.

Also, Titleist had some made for him to just like his off the shelf Mizunos. Says in one of those articles I believe.
