WANTED: Grey-Bruce Golf free round certificate from Toronto Golf Show

I would like to play many diffrent courses this season while keeping the spendings on the green fees low.

If you went to the Toronto Golf Show and got a free round coupon for one of the courses from Grey-Bruce Golf booth and not planning to use it I would like to buy it from you or trade for some golf balls or beer ;). I really like that region of Ontario and want to try different courses in the area.

I'm particularly interested in Cobble Beach certificate or some other better courses.

Haha Manny, I tried my luck at Wooden Sticks draw too. Got a $2 logo ball with no free round included :rolleyes: I hope I have a better chance getting a round in Owen Sound area than at those nice GTA courses. 3-hour drive could be discouraging for some ;)

lol, i wasn't the only proud owner of $2 ball after all. The guys in front of me and behind me both got divot tool/towel etc. I had to leave the area immediately after that....

Anyway, FOR THE THREAD STARTER...i do have a free round to Cornerstone and StoneTree (one each). I am way out east of Toronto, thus may not use these at all. If you're from the area, I can send these to you. Don't drink as a rule, but I'll take a dozen of golf balls as I loose those often:D

I also have 4 free rounds at Orr Lake, which I believe is 30 minutes North/West of Barrie. I am from the GTA and not sure if I want to drive 1:45 minutes for a free round of golf.

Stone Tree is a nice course in Owen Sound
Cornerstone is a 9 hole muni in Tobermory...not very memorable.
If you want to play some courses up here (I live here), they are
Blackhorse (kincardine) is a must play
Saugeen (Port Elgin) is good
Pipers Glen (Port Elgin) is a good test if not overly long
Owen Sound Country club is good
Cobble Beach (well...nuff said)
Sauble is ok
Chippewa (South Hampton) is ok
The Ferns (by Durham) is a must play
Pike Like (MountForest) is very good
Northern Dunes (Hepworth) is ok
Listowel I've heard is good

Thanks for your input Candukid. Some of the courses you mentioned were not presented at the Grey-Bruce pavillion. I got rounds at these courses so far:

Owen Sound GCC, Northern Dunes, Stone Tree, Cornerstone, Sauble, and Pipers Glen. Still looking for Cobble Beach and Blackhorse ;) Will take the extra rounds for the ones I already have and the other ones too.

I have 1 Sauble coupon. I would trade it for Talisman if Talisman wasn't a 9-holes course. I'd rather keep my 18 holes at Sauble. Thanks for the offer though :)

You are right, it is 9 hole course, however the coupon is for 18 holes so you can play twice. Good opportunity to repair your score from the front nine :-) I have attached scanned coupon - is this going to change your mind?
