It's just due to bad weather. It was a pretty bad thunder and lightning storm...we had hail for a little bit as well. Hail in August! Now, it's just light drizzle in Mississauga..the plane almost hit 401...there's going to be some bad traffic there

I heard about this tragedy from my coworker as I was leaving work today.
Very terrible news and my heart goes out to the passengers. Thankfully, it seems like no one was seriously hurt.

I read some early news articles on the crash and they say officials think it will take perhaps months to ascertain the exact cause of the crash. But many say that the bad weather is the most solid theory.

At least its not terrorism!

I was so disturbed at work when I first saw this, I think I made my mgr feel very uncomfortable... but it was right after a meeting and it was regarding my home town! (I was in NJ and suddenly heard this on the tv in the cafe).

I was so relieved to know that no one was hurt. My first thoughts were terrorism, or someone getting hurt near the 401. I heard 401 West got shut down.
