Third round cut

I see the new rule kicked in this week regarding a cut after the 3rd round. Ya gotta feel for Charles Warren who was in the hunt at 71, 71 and then fires an 81 or Streelman who goes 70, 74 , 84. Tough winds out there.

This is better then making the cut after two rounds. At least it gives the guys a chance to get into contention.

They still have a second round cut of top 70 and ties. This is second cut if more than 78 golfers are in the field after the first cut.

Corey Pavin was the biggest winner in this case, while a lot of guys shot close to or over 80, he managed a 69! :cool: (wiley little veteran!)
