A newbie from Barrie

Hello fellow chasers of the little white ball. New to this forum as just moved to the Barrie area from Calgary. Used to spend quite a bit of time on FGI, now seeming to visit TGN. I play 2 or 3 times a week, to about a 12 or so handicap (sometimes more.....much more). My wife is as avid as I am, and plays to about a 15. She hits it well just not too far. If she ever gains distance, she will whip my butt.

If anyone in the Barrie vicinity is looking for playing partners (ideally 2 partners, my wife and me) let me know.

I'm always looking for time to golf, not always getting that time. Like to play regularily, even tried men's night this year at a local club in Barrie. Contact me through PM sometime and we will hook up for a round. My wife plays once a year, but wants to play more. So you never know.

My husband and I love to play at Nottawasga. Feel free to recommend some courses in the Barrie area and we would love to join you. Unfortunately I can't say that I can whip up anything on the golf course but what I lack in distance I make up for in persistence!

wellkom! some good courses up Barrie area. ... but no foothills and not Chinooks.:)
