Vijay's ranked 10th, so he's ineligible!
Of those listed (and eligible) I'd go with Donald, but I think "other" is the best bet.
It's pure guesswork to pick anyone non-top 10, I guess, but Sean O'Hair has played so well of late that I guess I'll go with him.

Anyone who says anyone else other than Mike Weir is un-patriotic! :p
Anyhow, since it is St Patrick's Day, I will say Padraig Harrington.

IF Garcia coudl putt decently for 4 days I'd give him my vote hands down, as tee to green he is in the top 3-5 IMO. HOwever, the putting is to big a question mark to give him the nod for me.
My long shot would be Hunter Mahan, and I don't even know if he is playing, I just like his game.

Yeah, Hunter's playing -- he qualified in four categories, but most notably he won whatever the hell the Greater Hartford Open is called in 2007.
I'd pee myself with joy if Hunter won any major this year -- he may be my favourite of the younger golfers.

Out of the group that is listed, I like Luke Donald. Has the all around game and the patience.
Sergio can't putt.
He's fallen off the radar but I have always liked Retief Goosen.
It really doesn't matter though. Tiger wins in a cake walk unless he gets linched in some ally some where. Uh Oh. Er Um EEEEEE I mean he gets sick or something like that........

Never count him out! Even with all of his antics, he's still a Major Winner!

I just don't see him pulling it off two years in a row, unless the course conditions make his par-5 strategy advantageous again.

I am puzzled, I thought Jesus' Dad finished second last year at the Masters

Would love to see Sergio overcome his troubles by pullling it off in a big Tourney...it may be too much to ask of him though...it's a gamble any way you look at it.

I'm surprised Vijay is ranked only 10. I could see Stenson sneaking in there. I really can't see Tiger not doing it again.

Geoff Ogilvy and Aaron Baddeley. They drive it far and putt really well. Two extemely important components at the Masters. They are ranked 17 and 18 in the world.

Not a single mention of Trevor Immleman!! :$
There was another poll "Who`s going to win their first Major of their career in 2008? "
I chose Paul Casey, with Trevor Immelman as my alternate
Kinda wished Paul had pulled it off on Sunday, but Immelman's worthy of the win

Not a single mention of Trevor Immleman!! :$When I said "'other' is the best bet" in my first post on page 1, I was referring specifically to Immelman. I thought that was clear. "Other" was his nickname in high school.
