You must be thinking.......WHO??????
Gajan is better known as Canada's own Little Tiger!
He won his first international tournament when he was only 10 yrs old (2003 Future Tour event in Mississippi)! He also became the youngest Canadian ever to represent his country at age 6, participating in the World Junior and US Kids Golf events. Besides winning the Future Tour event, he also finished in the top 3 in the 12 events he entered. Definitely a Canadian to look out for within the next 10-15 years!

Yeah, I've heard about this kid too and he's got game!! This is almost exactly the way Tiger started out. Just whooping other kids butts around. He's appeared on Letterman and Leno already and is a member at The Manderin GCC in Richmond Hill. I dont' think he's the NEXT Tiger, he's even going to be BETTER than Tiger!!
I think he already drives the ball over 250 yrds and his handicap is single digit. I might be wrong, I'm just remembering what I read.

Cool.
I remember seeing an Asian teenager at the Canadian Open this year. Can't remember his name. Didn't do great, but for a little kid at a pro event, I'll tell you he did better than I would ever do in any tournament!
He was at the range, and after every shot, he'd look around and see who was watching ... he did this regardless of whether he bombed a long straight drive down to the 300 yard mark, or whether he duck hooked one of his irons. Yeah, it was pretty "cute". I'm sure he'd hate hearing that though.

Yeah, not sure if they kid was Asian or not but there was a 15 yr old who played very well considering the pressure, the course etc. Hope he develops into a Tour player.

I believe the kid you're referring to is 16 yr. old Darren Wallace from BC. He was the 2004 Canadian Amateur Champion. He's mixed......his father is caucasion and his mother is Korean....

He hits the ball 150 yards off the tee max.. hits 3 wood 120 yards and can't make 40% of the par 4's in two shots playing off the reds...now how is he gunan be able to play with the big boys fromt he back tees. i think hes 11 yrs old but and has time to grow but still will have a tough time playing from the back tees when you cant hit the ball far at all. Plus my friend whos in his age group.. although he is 13 beats him 7/10 times they go head to head in tournaments.
And about darren wallace.. In the canadian junior last year he finished something like 66th in canada from 19 & under and everyone gives him so much respect because he won the canadian amatuer.. obviosly he's good but he wona match play tourny, if that tourny was stroke play he wouldnt have come close to winning. Kid is a player tho no doubt about it but someone like Rafael Lee from B.C will go farther than Darren. Brad Revell ranked #1 in ontario last year.. I played in the group infront of him at the ontario junior and there were camara crews, scouts all around watching him. and he got a scholership to NC State.. The tarheels.

Gaj is awesome! watch out guys.. even you Glig! Sure Tiger wrote him a letter and Arnie asked him to put on a clinic, but this kid is great. I sit in on some of his lessons and you get a vibe from him that he knows he's going to be great. The girl in the middle of that pic posted above... Vivian Tsui, also amazing. 11 yrs old and hits her driver over 175 yds consistently. She turns heads when they practice at the ABBey

gajan might only hit the ball 150, but most holes for him are, hit, hit, hit, putt, and hes out. That kind of consistency is amazing. Im only 13, and have played before him in the optomist nationals and pressure doesnt even get to him. He definetely going somewhere. I beleive that even if he doesnt grow to be able to hit the ball 250 yards, he'll be able to show ppl that even the little guy can compete with the big boys.

I know the kids out standing but he'll be nationwide tour at best if he grows alot. some people dont understand just how good the guys are in the pga. people see them shoot -2 and go out to there home course and shoot -2 and think there good. Trying playing out the there rough on augusta greens and in that pressure. you would fall on your face you'd be shaking so much over the ball.
By the way why dont we make a thread about Michael G? has anyone heard about him??

How can you predict him only being Nationwide material when the kid is only 13??? I think everyone on this board knows how good the people are on the PGA, LPGA, JPGA, Hooters, Futures, CDN Tour, etc, etc....but that doesn't mean this kid doesn't have what it takes to make the PGA tour.
Give the kid a break, he's 13 and has plenty of time to grow into a better player. Seems like you've got something against this guy as both of your posts have aired on the side of negativity towards him.
As for Michael G, let's talk about him when he's done something out of this world.....right now he's about as exciting to talk about as Gajan Sivabalasingham. Both amazing kids with extraordinary talent that are sure to go miles in the future.

I dont have anything against him, i played with him, and watched him for a whole round when my friend was paired with him. I think the kid is an outstanding golfer, dont think he even knows what "rough" is he hits it so straight, amazing putter and does really well. all im saying is his whole family is incredibly small and so is he and in order for him to play golf for a living he will have to grow quite a bit or gain some distance. he will probably have another great year this year now that he's 13 but wait until he's 14 and if he doesnt grow, playing in the 14-16 age from 6600-6900 is going to be pretty tough for the little guy..
Dont get me wrong the kid is probably one of the best under 13 golfers in canada and can hit consistent 3 woods into the green and put them reasonably tight.
By the way has anyone heard of michael g? finished 4th in canada in the cjga last year with multiple wins and alot of top 5's.

I think he has a bit better chance of making it pro then gajan. 1-2 year difference but still if gajan is shooting those numbers when he turns 14 and plays from farther back and in the other age group i continue to have all the respect in the world for the little guy.

wow! Gajan is the total package! he certainly has raised the bar for all junior golfers.
Little Tiger has a big heart for other youngsters
By Marc Atchison
He's a kid helping other kids. Gajan Sivabalasingham, better known as Canada's Little Tiger, has thrilled us all with his golfing exploits over the first 11 years of his talented life. However, few know that this incredibly gifted boy spends his time away from the course reading to ailing kids at the Hospital for Sick Children and raising money to help researchers find the cures needed to get his unfortunate young friends back on the right course with him.
Last fall, Gajan and his father Siva held a celebrity golf tournament in which they raised $15,000 for the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation.
In a letter to the Sivabalasingham family, Michael O'Mahoney, president of
the Hospital for Sick Children, said: "Others have recognized Gajan's quality
as a sportsman -- I would like to recognize his quality as a philanthropist.
His coming to Sick Kid's to read to our patients is wonderful. Add to that his desire to use his talents to benefit the hospital and you have all the signs of a generous spirit and quality individual."
Gajan's incredible golf career continues to mirror that of Tiger Woods'
achievements, at a very young age. To date, Gajan has won almost 40
tournaments -- 15 of them coming this year (2005) alone.

I don't think Gligster was disrespecting Gajan, only giving his PoV on the subject. He never said anything that was out of line or rude, but gave his views with rationale arguments, whether you disagree or agree with his points.
Anyway, I find it neat to read about someone's first hand experience in the cdn tours.

I have older friends that have to trash another guy when that player plays well. I play just over scratch, and once upon a time a mini tour guy I was playing with says to his buddy thats walking around the corner, " oh yeah they paired us with some hack". He did not see me, but I'll tell ya, I could have dropped the Pr!^k right there. BE KIND TO OTHERS !!!

Went to the Metro Dome today, saw this kid everybody is talking bout. He's pretty accurate, no need for power IMO for a kid his size. He was with his father, I think this kid will grow to about 5'9" to 6'0". His dad was about 5'9, and with this modern age milk, kids are giants before they reach 18. IMO, power comes after accuracy, but i did see him duff and duck hook a few balls, but everybody is human. Never know, you might see me on tour before this kid.:D

Mike this reminds me of the time I wrote a Job Task List at work for a Director position and inserted my surname as one of the Skills Knowledge requirements, along with a few world-renown experts / guru's in the same field. A couple of years later I applied for the postion, got it, but only 1 person interviewing me caught my name insert ...
I don't think you were disrespectful of Gajan, just stating your observations. I agree with you in that ... its a huge advantage to have a power game. Its an advantage to learn to go deep off the tee, then develop the accuracy and scoring game to match ...

I think it is best if power comes BEFORE accuracy, not after. Kids who have power due to a more agressive tempo can develop accuracy with better swing mechanics. Its harder to teach them the other way, accuracy then power, while still maintaining the accuracy.
The kid could compete on the tour at 5' 9" but how long does he hit the ball now at his young age? Relatively speaking, if he is short off the tee now, then maybe he will always be short, and they are not shortening PGA events.
Gligster The Amatuer
Feb 4, 2006, 01:19 AM
Exactly,
The kid is really good and all, and could go somewhere in golf and play for a living but the only thing he has going against him is power but if he does somehow end up being about 6'0 and more then 150 lbs. then he could do pretty but his whole family is small. I dont even think his dad is 5'9. i think he's around the 5'6 mark, from what i remember.

he's 12 (born on November 2nd 1993). talking about a very small 12 year old who doesn't hit the driver far (220 yards) seems awefully silly to me.
will he grow? the odds are for him, not against. every guy that i know with a short immigrant dad is taller than his father. that means gajan has another 6+ inches to go. i imagine he can add at least another 50 yards with 6 more inches of height.
Carlton
Feb 4, 2006, 09:15 AM
I'm about 6-8 inches taller than my dad and about 10 inches taller than my mother. All my sisters and parents are small and short, I'm the odd ball. I was way shorther than everyone in my family until I hit about 15yrs and had a growth spurt. I'd say don't try reading into anyone's future based on what you see in front of you and don't be so quick to say how they will turn out physically esp. someone who still has a lot of growing years in front of them ie. don't judge a book by its cover as the old addage goes.

220 off the tee with accuracy is very very good for a 12 year-old.
i do agree that if he turns pro playing a 220-yd driver (unlikely, he'll be bombin' them 300+ with the big boyz soone enough) it'll be v. difficult to be competitive as the courses are not getting shorter.

Here's my list of accomplishments.
- I hit it about 200-220 yrds. But I am confident that I will finish ahead of some girls.
- I lost less balls this year than last year. I always make sure that I have two balls left when I leave the course.
- I also hit my 4 iron around 220 - the only difference between me and racmbs is that I have to hit my ball twice.

Like I said the kid hits his driver 170-190 max and not 220.
Yeah, I've heard about this kid too and he's got game!! I dont' think he's the NEXT Tiger, he's even going to be BETTER than Tiger!!
I think he already drives the ball over 250 yrds and his handicap is single digit. I might be wrong, I'm just remembering what I read. Post #2
Hi GtA
I think you were replying to Post #2 when Focker Singh said the NEXT Tiger hits the ball over 250 yards, and you set out to set the record straight based on what you have seen. Even Michelle Wie isn't approaching the 300+ yards that has been claimed by the golf media over the last couple of years.
Some will disagree, but I think distance is critically important to have a chance at making money as a professional. Sure there are the exceptions, but the game is now being dominating by long hitters who hit approach shots with a wedge / 9-iron out of the rough. Its been a long time (or never) since they shortened a PGA setup. Every couple of years they keep adding on more yards. Heck at Whistle Bear for a Nationwide event they played it at like 7,700 yards.

Gligster, do yourself a favor and stop talking about yourself. Also, if you need help with equipment, we don't need to hear about your accomplishments but rather just your swing type, etc.
Last time I checked, this thread is about Gajan and not Michael G. If you really must talk about yourself, please start a new thread. Whenever you feel the need to Gligcrap a thread with your accomplishments, it shall now be known as Gligcrapping.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that the TGN community is very humble and for GTA to come in here with all the I's and Me's, it doesn't really gel. Personally, I think Mok should close this thread considering it'll just get nastier.

i would not even attempt a 220 yard shot unless i was hitting off a T. and even then i might still seriously consider laying up. long irons and woods off the deck are my bane!
i bet this gajan kid would just whip his driver out and hit it clean off the turf without batting an eye. and then gliggy would say it wasn't 220 yards 'cause it was downwind and he musta hit a sprinkler head for the extra roll. but hey, it counts 'cause gajan was aiming for that sprinker...
he wrote out all his accomplishments because he was taunted to, what he should have done was ignore the taunt instead of giving you guys more ammunition to pick on him.

thimble, have you tried some of the new hybrids?
i've ditched my 5 wood and 3 iron.
i prefer the fli-hi or titleist's offering because they look more like irons.
for more of the wood-look u could opt for TM mids, Cleveland halos, Hogan CFT hybrids (I have a 2h and enjoy it off the tee) or Callaway's 'heaven' series.

Mike, the above is all you needed to state about your accomplishments, no more, no less. Just the headlines would of been better and more to the point. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt due to your young age at 16.
Now take some advise and ignore those who edge you on to keep talking about yourself. This thread is about Gajan Sivabalasingham, so lets leave it at that.
Hi ALL
I wouldn't close the thread, but lets try to get it back to Gajan.
He sounds like a great kid who gives a ton back to the community.
Gajan is a local kid and the local forum should cover his success!

i picked up an 18* and 21* fli-his through some fellow TGNers, and i'm waiting for a 24* to arrive in the mail. i haven't had a chance to hit them outside yet, and i'm really itchin' to try them out! they feel pretty good at the dome...

he wrote out all his accomplishments because he was taunted to, what he should have done was ignore the taunt instead of giving you guys more ammunition to pick on him.
and you're right, this thread should just be closed. too bad coz it started out as a good topic. The reason for it Ems is quite simple, this kid has been wanting to talk about himself ever since he mentioned "hey, have you heard about Mike G?".The thread was started with the intention of discussing Gajan Sivabalasingham and right in his first post GTA gets going on how the kid hits it 150 yards max off the tee, hits his three wood this far and blah-blah-blah. THEN, in his second post in this thread that's when he starts saying HEY, why don't we start a thread about Mike G?? DING-DING! Round one begins.....
Right or wrong has gone completely out the window at this point. The way I see it, he's been wanting to toot his own horn ever since he came on this board and I called him out to give him that chance so he can finally get it off his chest and scream out to the TGN world "HELLO I'M MIKE G AND THIS IS WHAT I'VE DONE!"
Now that he'd done it, it's water off a ducks back and I could care less. Bravo for all of his accomplishments, it most ceratainly takes talent to do what he has done there is no doubt in my mind, but I'm sure with age and a little more maturity he'll learn the right way to go about introducing himself and getting people interested in who he is and what he's done.

Gligster,
I've followed this thread for the past few of weeks and I've been wanting to say three things to you :-
1. Learn how to spell Amateur - but you've corrected that, so one down two to go!
2. Remove all that crap about the tournaments you compete in from your signature - we can look at your personal profile if we're really interested.
3. Let your clubs do the talking. Self praise is no praise at all - when you win something worth writing home about, people here will be among the first to congratulate you.
You're obviously a talented player and I wish you the best of luck. Just keep your feet on the ground and oh, did I mention, let your clubs do the talking!

He was not taunted to list his accomplishments. I had just found this thread and read entirely yesterday and wanted to see what he had accomplished. It is quite a list and he should be proud of it. However Gligster shouldn't be running around saying stuff about other junior competitiors. I he does't think that Gajan is that great of a player, that is fine but he can keep that to himself!

Golfguy25 - you need to go back through the thread and find me where i said gajan is a bad player. Like i said from the begining Gajan is a great player and i probably have seen this kid hit balls and play more than everyone combined here as he played in prolly 10 of my tournaments last year. not once did i say he was bad or rip on him, the only thing i said was he was a short ball hitter and thats would be the only thing holding him back from being unbeleivable.

here's a tip:
there's a difference between "sorry, I spoke out of jealousy, and meant no disrespect to gajan" and "sorry for what I did, but I think you guys are ripping me for no reason".
once you own up to a mistake, you can learn to never make the same mistake again. eg. like hitting an ugly hook: you can either try to look for something else to blame, like the club or someone snapping off a photo, or you can try and figure out what really made that hook happen.

I am absolutely amazed at the unwarranted press that Gajan gets, but I also shouldn't be surprised either. I've witnessed his pushy father with obvious stars in his eyes, make Gajan look like a one trick pony. One moment that stands out in particular was at a Golf Channel Skills competition, where any chance there might be a camera in sight, he would make sure Gajan would get someones attention somehow, someway- it was really obvious and shameful, those who were watching actually felt sorry for him like a one trick pony performing when needed. I lost alot of respect for the Sivabalsingham camp. Although I must give him credit for knowing the right people, occassions and the means that get Gajan sponsorship and undeserved press. Upon reading todays Globe and Mail article by Lorne Rubenstein about the self dubbed "little tiger" I again had to just shake my head. As a former pro athlete, a scratch golfer with top amateur tournament experience, I'm speaking from an unbiased athletic perspective. It is very, very easy to be a young "phenom" in any sport. You see it in hockey everyday where a youngster is verifiable future superstar until he gets a little older around thirteen or fourteen and then the playing field levels out, when all the kids at that age get bigger, stronger and all excell at what they do and it becomes much, much tougher to be the best and the phenom you were supposed to be. Time will tell of course, but in reality even with all the carefully planned attention that Gajan gets, his record does not back it up. Outside of a carefully padded resume, we see a very lackluster 2004, 2005. No Ontario Bantam championships, Golf Channel National Jr. skills championships, no trophys coming back from the Jr. Worlds in San Diego. The measuring stick is the performances against the best- and there are no true championship wins to back up the well planned hype. No matter what his fathers camp of planners, sponsors, high end teachers and sport psychologists can do for Gajan, I hope the " putting all the eggs in one basket" mentality work out for him, and that down the road despite the older he gets, the tougher the true competition gets, his true abililty will be able to speak for itself.

I'd like to see a match between GtA and Michelle Wie. Both are 16 yrs old and both are promising young golfers.
Hi Bellyhungry
The last I check Michelle was a little bit past 'promising' with $10 million in the bank and ranked #2 or #3 Lady Golfer in the World.
Since this thread is about Gajan, shouldn't Michelle play a match against him?
That would be a great topic to post on the GtA thread ...

Hi lovecars
Going from young 'phenom' to adult 'star' is a huge transition, as many never do make it professionally. The golf landscape if full of TOP Juniors who have won Naional Championships and played NCAA golf, only to struggle later and never have the game to indeed make a living as a professional.
In effect, their game peaks at a certain level (relatively early) and more hard work and misguided effort aimed at improvement has a minimal (or negative) effect at realling making a true difference in their stroke average reduction.
I like to call this 'hitting the cement block wall'. The player and their team of advisors do not have the specialized knowledge to 'push the wall further back' to give their player more entitlement, and resulting success.
I hope Gajan has the inner drive and desire to be that 'little Tiger' and not to just please his father.

Apparently you have not heard of Corey Pavin?
5'9", 155 lbs
Averages 260 off the tee
FOURTEEN PGA WINS
TWELVE INTERNATIONAL WINS
NATIONAL TEAMS
Walker Cup, 1981; USA vs. Japan, 1982; Nissan Cup, 1985; Ryder Cup (3), 1991, 1993, 1995; The Presidents Cup (2), 1994, 1996.
Currently 43rd in the Career Money Earnings with $11,987,706
U.S. OPEN WINNNER
But he should not have done that well, he is too small, he doesn't hit it far enough off the tee.
As for a thread on Michael G, if I recall your scoring average for 2005 was 76.? and you played a lot of events. If someone checked the scoring averages they would find you rank 4th, however if they look at the big picture you rank a lot higher than that.
So you should not be tooting your own horn just yet. When you win some events in Junior Golf then maybe.
By the way, are the US Colleges knocking down your door right now to recruit you? The fact that Canadian JR golfers have colleges in the States interested in them is a big factor on how good they are. If the U.S. Colleges do not come knocking then you are not in the picture. They come knocking early too, they do not wait until you are 19, they start when you are 16-17. I know that for a fact, one JR from my city was recruited, and they talked to him long before he was done highschool.
BY THE WAY, I HAVE SEEN GAJAN ON TV, He sure looked like he had a lot of talent. As for his Father being pushy, well I seem to recall a YOUNG TIGER making an appearance on TV when he was about 3 years old.

I'm sure most announcers would have their tongues in a knot trying to figure out how to say his last name in one syllable. I think its going to be best to break it up into three parts: siva (pronouced like seeva), bala (pronounced more like ball-a), singham (pronounced more like sing-ham). South Indian names can be trying, primarily cause they are made up of multiple names, generally of their father and their grandfather, in my experience.

Hi Golfbum
GtA's '4th' place ranking per CJGA Order of Merit last year was based on playing 16 events.
Mike had an inspiring stroke average of 76.89 vs. the lowest scoring average in the field at 74.0.
Dong Su played 6 events, had a notable stroke average of 74.0, but finished 3 spots behind GtA.
The 'Top 50' players [Boys age 14 - 16] played on average fewer than 6 events [5.86 to be exact].
With over 230 kids playing this elite division, the most events played by one Jr. boy was 17 events.
Fewer than 1% of the boys played over 9 events. I guess it's pretty darn costly to get to them all.
Based on 'scoring average' alone, 'Glister The Amatuer' would of been ranked 20th overall per CJGA.
Glister is still considered young 'phenom' material if you ask me.

I'm sure this young guy is a great player for his age. But let's be realistic and not pin PGA Tour hopes on him just yet. There are all kinds of great young players all around the world. Golf is extremely competitive and it takes a lot of hard work AND luck to make it. It's great to see young talent that exceeds coming from Canada in any sport. But let this young talented individual have fun playing and competing, and what ever the future holds so be it.......

Hi Big Shooter
First I think you totally missed the point of my message, so let me take the time to explain it. Doesn’t it seem just a tad ‘odd’ that Golfer18 joins the forum and within his/her first 2 posts finds the Gajan Sivabalasingham thread to ‘trash talk’ him and then state ‘Long Bomber!!!!!!!!!! ’ Real nice 2nd post from a newbie isn’t it?
[[ You always speak FONDLY of YOUR SON!!! ]]
UNTIL I Die!!! Funny thing about ‘values’, if you can’t speak FONDLY of those people within your ‘circle of influence’, then it’s hard to be complimentary ‘outside your circle of control’. When ‘fb’ did not place at GRT Event 3, I was quick to praise on this forum those who did win the event, so there is some sense of balance.
Big Shooter, real nice Profile picture. How did you create it?

Hi Golfer18
Quite frankly '88' first time out > any problem counting all of the strokes?
Anyway, you sound like a real talent, so what is your personal best score?
When you say your handicap is 4 would that be 4 [as in -4] or +4 [below scratch]?

I don't know if that's true or not but if it is, he doesn't deserve any praise being a 10hdcp...I don't care if you're 10yrs old. Sure you'd be a good golfer but IMO you don't deserve to even be mentioned in the same breath as Tiger Woods, let alone being compared to him.

Interesting first post James.....before you posted, did you happen to go through all 6 pages of this thread before stating "us guys don't know anything"? As a matter of fact, quite a few of us here follow more than just the PGA Tour, we all want to see how our Junior up and comings are doing and who we should be following closely.....and for a guy who's not as good as you thought, he still finished in second place 13 shots ahead of you. In all fairness here, I think it's clear who's the better player at this point in time.
A simple search on Google for Gajan Sivabalasingham pulls up this:

Interesting thread. I love to watch a good junior golfer. 13 year old at my club regularly kicks my butt and I actually enjoy it!
Gigster, anytime you want to play Board of Trade, let me know. My treat.
I'll throw another name at 'cha - Anita Gahir. A prominent junior golfer since she was 13 or so. She's a tall, lean girl (now young woman) built much along the lines of Michelle Wie. I see a ton of potential in her. She's off to Indiana on a full golf scholarship next year.
She also happens to be leading at the 2006 Investors Group Ontario Junior Girls' Golf Championship going on right now in Hamilton. She has a seven shot lead after the first round.
If I could play like her, I'd seriously consider a sex change.

well guys, from what i've read the last damn 7 pages *ugh*:help: about this Gajan kid, he seems to be the real deal and I would have LOVED to see him play at any of the CJGA tournaments last year but I never did sadly:( ..anywho about Mr. G..hold your head up high, you got nothing to be ashamed of..I think you are a TREMENDOUS golfer and I wish I had the skill of which you possess..my only advice to you would be is respect is not given, it's earned..and what I mean by that is and what other TGNers told you, is you don't need to show us your stats or bring your name up, you let your game do the talking and you will be noticed. All the best to you Mike, I hope you end up winning the Order of Merit for this year, keep up the good work!:D

what would be the point in locking the thread down... u guys managed to get mike out of here. whats the problem now. if u guys have such a problem with the threadd...then dont go to it? dont make the ppl who like the topic have to suffer it being locked cause of u. sorrry if that sounds offensive . but yeah
The point of potentially locking this thread down has everything to do with people coming onto this board, viewing a thread and then commenting in it with absolutely no knowledge of the current subject, or simply to stir the pot up a bit to get people angry....we like to call them TROLLS.
Mike G was never chased out of TGN. Infact, in the beginning after speaking with him publicly and trying to make him understand that actions speak louder than words (ie:Hacker87's post), he was embraced by the TGN community and while not even ON the board, was defended by the majority of the people here as they knew what type of person he was like. What started the whole meal deal, was MG came onto TGN tooting his own horn in THIS very thread that was designated discussion for Gajan Sivabalasingham....so if anyone had any ground to make up and explain for his actions, it was Mike.
Here's a quote taken from page 1 of this thread, posted by none other than Mike G...pay close attention to the red highlighted text.
So you see the point now?
This thread has nothing to do with Mike and everything to do with Gajan...and if you'd go back and read through all 7 pages of this thread, I think you'd see it from a different light and would be in a better position to back up comments such as the one you've posted.
GTA is always welcome here and we as golfers, are all envious of what he's accomplished as we were all junior golfers at one time in our lives. If I could turn back the clock, I would have listened to my parents about taking golf seriously and going through school using it, instead of Mr. Happy doing all the thinking for me and getting me into trouble. :D

Definitely a Canadian to look out for within the next 10-15 years!
he's hosting an event this month to raise $$$ for Sick Kid's ...
@ Mandarin.

Gajan is a great kid, and he's definitely got potential.
Anyone heard of Wade Chen? He's that Chinese kid on the left. His family just moved him to Orlando so he can play golf all year round.
