Golf Pride dual durometers are nice they are all black with a red cap on the butt, they have a firm inner layer and a soft outer layer.
Actually are endorsed by the Arthritis foundation of America.
Go to a golftown and they have all the grips on cut down shafts so you can get a feel for them.
Golf Pride Softies...
Used to like the tour softies, that had the shine buffed off them and had a touch of cord.

The softies are great, Winns just last that long IMHO.
Also consider the Lamkin Tosion control or the Dual Density 2 from Golf Pride

If you are looking for soft grip....try the sticky grips from Iomic or Nowon grips. They are as soft as you can get. Wingrips DSIs are pretty soft as well.

Also the new Lamkin Crossline Tour are soft like the GP Tour Velvets.

grips are a very personal thing.........
there are literally hundreds of grips out there to choose from these days........stop by Golfsmith and they will have them all out for you to fondle
retail sold clubs almost always have a variation of Tour Velvets....why because they are the cheapest and wear well so you should get 40 or 50 rounds before replacement is needed.....
but a pretty lousy grip compared to most out there.......I wont even recommend them to folks...

Nowon grips are awesome...however I have yet to see clubfitters carry them. they are the most overlooked grips out there.

im a big fan of the tour velvet (from golfpride) or crossline (lambkin)
i have the crosslines on all my clubs since someone (racmbs) screwed up and regripped my wedges with crosslines (just jokin bud - i cant really tell the difference between the gp or lambkins)

One thing to be aware of when regripping the Callaways is that the stock grip is typically somewhere in the range of 45g whereas most of the replacement grips you are looking at will be at least 50-52g. This means that once the new grips are installed the swingweight on your clubs will probably be 1-2 points lower. I think Softies are even heavier so the swing weight will come down even more.
