I just got a delivery notice in the mail.... I was soo happy that I had received my Custom Fit Titleist AP2 irons from a Golf Pro in USA.

Looked at the Taxes!!! Lights out !! $537 in taxes..... I thought it was mistake..

Rushed to the postal outlet and it was correct!!

The Golf Pro had made a typo on the customs decleration...

8 Clubs @ 500.00 = $4000

The correct mount was 8 Clubs at $50. = $400.

I was told i could pay for the item and send them a refund form with the invoice!!! or appeal!!!

HELP!! Advise

I appealed a taxes and duty through CP.

I had a driver shipped up, and the idiots at customs had put someone elses customs declaration form on my box. The address on the customs form was for some guy in BC. So I fill out the appeal paperwork, and send it back with the CP girl.

I've never seen the driver again - and neither did the seller.

My advice would be to refuse it and call the Golf Pro and let him know what's going on. I'd be pushing for him to correct his error and ship again on his dime.

Get him to email you a corrected form or proof of true price paid. Then go fill out form B2Form B2 (http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/publications/forms-formulaires/b2.pdf)

more info available on this page. They are very reasonable and understanding of mistakes. http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/import/resolution-eng.html#P374_36321

the longer method would be to reject the delivery, if you have not already paid, and it will go back to the sende, he then fills out a proper declaration and resends to you. but if you want to keep them then use the method I outlined above.
cheers.

I just paid for the item and will ask for a refund.... Other i would have to wait another 6 weeks to get my clubs..

I just spoke to the Golf Pro he is going to mail me a letter with an original signature stating he had made an error when completing the online customs forms (USPS)

He is also going to send me an invoice for the correct amount....

I hope they give me my refund!!!

You'll get your refund, hopefully it won't take to long. I've had a couple of refunds from Canada Post due to incorrect pricing of items..

You will be OK at the end. You will get your $$ back. Happen to me a couple of times (only $15 to $30) but I always got satisfaction.

Just have to be patient...

Phonzy,

That depends where you shop........

Not all golf retailers are like myself where we match the Dollar the best we can.
