It was with great sadness last night that I had to tell my wife that the 32 inch tube technology tv in the living room was on the blink and unrepairable. Now I have to buy a widescreen HD tv to replace it. :D  :hyper:

Jim my condolences to you and your wife. Please remember the good times the old set brought to you both during this troubling time. Try not to be down as they take her out and wheel the new one in.
Of course once it's gone, feel free to open a '72 Dom and let loose and enjoy the daring new addition. :D

Sad? Crying with joy maybe?
Jim, take that old broken down set out to your garage or driveway and drive a few balls at it.... seriously pics of that would be awesome.

I have a 42 inch HD Samsung in the basement. This is just phase 2 of the master plan to go all HD.
If I can convince her it may be time to move the 42 inch to the living room and upgrade to a bigger set for the basement (aka Man Land)

I have a buddy who has a 52 in his basement, notice I said his basement... :D He just brought it home and said he won it as a sales prize, his previous 42 was "won" at a golf tournament. He is one lucky bastage!:rofl::rofl:

People still have Tube TV's? I thought those were outlawed or something.
You should donate your set to a museum.

I just grabbed a 61" for the basement (aka the Man room), the wife isn't even allowed in the room, not even to dust off the Tyrannosaurus Plex :p I love the thing, but after a month or so it seems small, I need a 70" :cookoo: I gave her my 42" to keep her quiet ;)
