This will be my third year in the weekday events. Usually very well run. Not as competitive as some of the other tours and also fairly laid back. They generally play courses that are middle of the road expensive. Here is the weekend schedule:
May 10 Peninsula Lakes $75.00
May 24 Oaks of St George $55.00
June 7 Dragon's Fire $70.00
June 21 Grey Silo $75.00
July 5 Willow Valley Golf Club $70.00
July 19 Hidden Lake (new) $70.00
Aug. 9 King's Forest $61.00
Aug. 23 Cambridge G&CC $50.00
Sept. 6 Piper's Heath $85.00
Sept. 20 Crosswinds $80.00
Sept 29 & 30 Tour Championship

This is a golf LEAGUE, not a tour. I played it last year, and was not as impressed with it as corchard is. However, the guys were pretty good to play with and as long as you understand this is more of a fun league than a competitive tour you should enjoy yourself.

THe reason why I say it is a league is because the results are based over the entire year, not event to event. There are skins and long drive that you can win $ on within each event, but the overall prizes are based on the entire years results, so if you win on a particular week you will not receive anything other than skins and long drive $.

Skins is where all the action is anyway. :p

They generally play in the 6100-6300 yard range and a winning score will usually be a couple of strokes over par for the "players" tier.

Thats exactly what I was looking for. I'm not really at the level where I could compete with really good golfers yet. Just want something that I can enjoy as more of an introduction to competitive golf.

Hey Terry. I am most likely going to play in many of the events. I am also playing on the Mulligan Tour and of course some of the TGN events.
The rotation does not seem all that bad and I am liking the fun aspect of the series. I have played my competitive golf and I want to change my attitude on course to relax a little more.
Hope to see you on tour.
Bruce.

Hi Terry, this may be your cup of tee. Although as Hognut has stated, its more of a house league than a tour. There are some very nice guys that we met and Devon does a lot work for the tour and a fairly decent job. We, (Hoganut and I) did have a few issues and left the tour before the end as we were not happy. I wont go into details as it was handled privately and satisfactory for all parties.

As I said there were many people that we enjoyed golfing with. There were only a few goofs and one nasty course pro.

Have fun !

I just registered for my fourth year ...Good folks, a variety of courses, and just the proper level of competititon for those of us that make our money in professions away from the golf course...

In that regard its a great way to committ to playing, with an event every second week.

We always welcome new members....http://www.duffersdreamtour.com
