I just watched a bit of an old TGC interview with Tiger following his 2005 win at St. Andrews.
He said that, before his round, it was his best pre-round practice that he had ever experienced. He said that it started by hitting the same "0" on the 100 yd sign 5 times before moving on, and hitting every other shot on command.
He also said that he had a similar phenomenon once when, before a round at a German tourney, he hit the 100 yd sign, then the 150, 200, 250 and 300 signs. (but he did say that he then started that round double bogey, bogey).
And I'm happy if I get close to the 100 yd car at Launch!
