Why do you want e21 65g shafts? Those would be a flex for fairies, this shaft does not exist, and neither do fairies. Stiff flex, or 5.5 starts at 110g in the long irons and 125 in shorter irons.

I have a stiff set of pulls in the studio that are Aldilla Graphite, but they are .370 tip. It may be difficult for you to find anything in a taper.

Jeff

I also have a set of 5.5 pulls 5-pw I can let go for a cient as well.

I was given this info from Shawn Skyler at Element 21, Went to a store and swung the 65 and 85 6 iron and prefered the flight I was getting from the 65. I;m not even sure those numbers were referencing their respective weight as I went on the E21 site and they do not even list those weights. However I do know where I won't be making any purchases (SWANK GOLF) as I don't generally give my business to people who make fun of me. Instead of insulting me you could make better by educating me. So in the end I won't be ordering those TM tour weights or any other products from you.

I was not trying to make fun of you. I do apoligize if it cam across as that. It was meant to mean that fairies as it little flying people are about the only people who would need them. If they are going into your irons, you will not find a 65 or 85 gram shaft. Shawn would have mislead you. The lightest shaft I have seen are 85 grams and they were used to make clubs for a woman.

What my original post said was that if you are looking for stiff, you need to look at 110 and 125 gram shaft weights no matter what. By no means was I ever calling you a fairie at all. It was never my intent to insult you.

Now I am not doing any of this to seem pompous, but I just want to pass on the proper information to you. You were misinformed by whomever gave you the clubs you have hit.

First off, as I mentioned before I Went to a store and swung the 65 and 85 E21 6 iron and prefered the flight I was getting from the 65. I'm not even sure those numbers were referencing their respective gram weight as I went on the E21 site and they do not even list those weights.

Secondly and I am not questioning your knowledge However please explain why a scandium shaft would be heavier than a graphite shaft, whent the whole point of scandium is to have less weight and more strenth/stiffness and better dampening or how this listing is correct then, http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320239801532&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=011

Was going to purchase the above shafts and have you install them, however now I really don't feel comfortable. What really bothers me, is when you Were the guy for Yes! Canada I reported a counterfeit club seller to you to help protect your industry from fraudsters and in turn you cut me down in a public forum. Nice Tact hope it gets you far in life.

Why would you bring up stuff from past experiences here? And can you take a joke and the light shafts I guess not, then starting to rip on Jeff really make you look like the good on here. He explained it to you and look what you come back with.

And the reason why they are heavier then graphite is because the material they use.

Scandium is a material that is lighter than steel and heavier than graphite.

It is designed to be a lighter replacement for steel giving you the benefit of graphite. The ball flight dispersion is alot tighter than any shaft I have ever hit. Even the Project X.

I would love to know what store you went to the shafts in. They obviously are not familiar with the product. Also, I spoke with Shawn, and he asks that you give him a call so that he can help you.

Also, I do not recall any incedents where I would ever beat someone down over a putter that is counterfeight, esp somewhere where I worked.

Ping High:

Jeff is one of the most respected members on this site, and a friend to many of us. Naturally we will all come to his defense, but maybe not knowing WHO he is on a personal level made it difficult for you to pick out the friendly ribbing in his first comment to you. I don't think that his intentions were that of cutting you down in public, he's a business owner who's gained the respect of the entire community on here and several other sites, and don't think for a minute that he would jeopardize any of that at the expense of your query.

So before you continue off on your little rant over an innocent little comment made at offering up some humor...take a few steps back and lighten up just a little. If you take a good hard look at this site, and the members that make up this tight-knit community, you will see very quickly that we all take pot shots at one another like this in the name of good fun. No harm now foul....good clean fun.

The reality of it is, the information you were provided about e21 shafts was incorrect....at this point, it doesn't really matter where you got it from, or whom you got it from. All that matters is that you get fit into the right set for you....so my only advice, is to wait before jumping into that set of Grafalloy blues as they are WAY out of spec from what you were originally after and might not work for you at all.

I suggest just burying the hatchet and going to see Jeff in person, as I'm sure your perception of him would change very quickly and would see that he is a great guy. I think once you've left his shop you'd feel confident knowing you have the right equipment for your game in your hands, or just a bunch of useful information that you can take into any other shop and work it from there. Information is free, and Jeff is known for being the type of guy to take the time and answer any and all questions you might have.

I am fairly new to this site and I must COMPLETELY AGREE with "racmbs", Jeff provides a lot of info for free. I pm'ed him on a few occassions and all the questions were answered without a dime out of my pockets.

And as per the "fairy" comment, I don't understand why you would take it any other way than a total j/k.

And thanks Jeff for clearing up the Scandium VS Graphite issue. Something I didn't know.

Guys, Jeff is the one that introduced me to this forum about a year ago when he was still at Yes! Golf. The hatchet has been burried hours ago when Jeff and I spoke on the phone a few hours ago. We both apologised to one another and we both acknowledged that we don't one another well enough to poke, albeit innocent, fun at or make rash judgements about each other.I will leave it at it has all been settled and the matter is closed. For the record I have and still do continue to hold Jeff in high regard as I know many of you do. I hope that we can all learn something from todays transgressions. I know I have, somethings just need to be taken with a grain of salt. That being said I also hope that we can get into the practice of reading what we write before we post because some of us type faster than we can think, and some of us can think faster than we can type.

Good Idea Ping High,
Think before you post, and if you don't have anything nice to say don't say nothing, atleast thats how the saying goes.

Hope we all can get out and play a round of golf
