Mickelson Gambling Faux Pas

Check out this article on an alleged event that happened last week between Mickelson and some members. Has anybody heard anything about this? There is word from PM's camp that it is baseless and erroneous but usally where there's smoke there's fire.

He has been known in the past to have some troubles with wagers, he and Mike Weir were busted for PGA Tour violation a few years ago if I remember correctly. Something about wagering on the outcome of a tournament...?

The tournament you are referring to is the WGC event at Firestone. It was a wager on whether Jim Furyk would hole out after leaving his first attempt in the bunker. TIger Woods went on to win the tournament.

Honestly, I don't think its true. They have the cash but I don't think that's the point. Your post seems a little 'smully';)

If somehow this story is true, shame on Phil but I think he has far more integrity then that.

There hasn't been any snow falls here in the GTA for awhile. Some courses are open. Little soggy though.

I knew it was true... well the issue with Moobs and Weir betting from behind the 18th green.

Ok, which story are you saying is correct? The one at Augusta National? I can't believe he'd try and badger anyone into making a bet higher than what the norm was. The "story" from Augusta would be more believable if it was Michael Jordan, hard to believe Moobs would try that stunt.
