usually for early AM rounds, a good breakfast (favorite is toasted western) and water during the round

for late AM or PM rounds, gatorade/powerade - one or two during the round + water...food, I grab a sandwich at the turn and eat one or two granola bars. Sometimes I'm bad and have a hot dog...then regret by the 12th hole.

Mostly lots of water, the occasional gatorade and a Cliff bar or fruits. No beer for the wicked. Don't like to drink & drive. Let's not forget, after hitting the fairway you got to hit the road, too.

i bring 2 or 3 gatorades, which i try to drink 1 or 2 in the front 9 so that by the back 9, my bag gets lighter haha...

i also bring a protein bar or something so that i have enough energy to get through the back 9.

chocolate bars are good too, i have one of those if my friend decides to bring a box

Water, Gatorade, granola bars. I'll often pick up either a tuna salad or roast beef sandwich at the turn.

Naw, my game just looks like I do ;)

I do usually have a couple of frozen bottles of water if it's hot. The Floggermeister is the one with the bag with the built in cooler pocket.

I carry water, gatorade, oatmeal bars, the usual stuff.

Like a shot of caffeine to start the morning round i.e. strong coffee.

Tried some Red Bull recently. Liquid sugar and caffeine - HELLO!!!  . Tough to put a ball on the tee when you start the day with that stuff.

As soon as 11am rolls around I'm scoping out the bev cart for a pint or cooler.

Golf itself is enough for me. Usually, I only drink - Blue Powerade - even when doing 36.

2 or 3 applications of sunscreen (not exactly fuel) help me get through the day.

plus lots and lots of water...

Usually I'm too rushed in the morning to grab breakfast but if I have 10 extra minutes, I'll stop by McD's for a combo. I can justify it by walking the course and sweating off the 30000 calories I injested. Lots of water keeps me going along with the occasional chocolate bar. Ohh...seeing a nice cart tart can give me a boost here or there! :D

I know I'll get lots of trouble for this, but I love a Grapefruit Vodka cooler on a hot day. Not too sweet, goes down nice.

Propel (made by Gatorade)....usually FREEZE 2 or 3 bottles overnight.

p.s., Gatorade & Propel are 99 cents a bottle (710ml) at Dominion
(I think this 'Sale Price' lasts until Sept. 9)...that's waaay cheaper than anywhere else, even Costco!!;)

I gotta go with the beloved Red Bull myself. One in the car on the way to the course and possibly one for the back nine if need be! Plus some fruit and granola bars while on the course.

red powerade/gatorade during the round and maybe a chocolate bar (gotta eat it fast on a hot day)

before a morning round ... McD's is mandatory ...
sausage n' egg mcmuffin.
I'll carry a couple of granola bars to have during the round.

however, as mentioned in a previous post ... do alot you go into the clubhouse after 9 holes to enjoy a sit-down large lunch? what happens if two or more consecutive groups decide to sit-down for a lunch? how do marshals manage the course in that situation? (inserting the foursomes back into the flow. how is it done?)

Most places won't let you take more than 5minutes between 9s.
They'll sell you premade sandwiches but won't cook you fries and a burger.
However, some places have a dude ready outside at a bbq to make you a quick dog or burger.
