Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone here plays on any amateur tours in Toronto? And if so how is it you get into one and do you win anything for placing in the top 3? Was just curious...

Not really sure how all of this works but I would be very interested to find out.

Thanks

I've played in a few of the Dunlop Tour events this summer. It really depends what you are looking for. Dunlop has played some great tracks (National Pines, Eagles Nest, The Rock for example) and they have a number of different flights.

As for prizes, it is based on the field - prizes go to the top 20% - I won 2nd and got a $150 RedNeck putter for example. There is a bit of a premium on the green fee - the one drawback for the tour, but their events are midweek - typically Mon or Tues.

For the registration fee ($115) I received a box of Crazy Loco Pro balls ($40), Sundog glasses ($40), Dunning golf shirt ($60), some Sharpie markers, Epoch tees, and golf glove. Organizers are great, and the players have been good to meet...
