Did anybody notice that Golf Town now sells their stuff online now? I think I visited that site like 2-3 weeks ago and they didn't have that b4! :help:

i've seen it for a while, and from what i heard, it's a soft launch at the moment...

But it's as slow as turtles!!!

Also, their price online does not reflect their price on stores. The sad thing too is prices differ from store to store.

That's because an online retailer has to match the lowest advertised price in stores. I know for a fact that prices in Ottawa are a little lower than say Edmonton b/c Ottawa has way more competition. So, you'll sometime find some products cheaper online than in store. The difference is usually offset by shipping charges.

Actually I see this price difference within GTA stores. Just that Adams set that was posted here a few weeks ago. I believe it was at the Whitby store that was posted about, I went to check the downtown location and it didnt have it. The Markham store had the same price as Whitby and Scarborough didn't have it also.

I would of agreed if it's by regions/provinces but these are a drive away from each other.

And when I asked how come this store had this price, answer I got is ........... they dont know.

That's weird but I would think once you get rung up, it would be the same price.

I asked them and they said they can match but they cant beat it by another 5% since its their store heheh.

And about the price when they put it through the cash register........... the price remained the same as what they have it for. I dont know if they have a system that have the price for each on a database or something but it didnt show it then.

what about the price they show on their online site? ahaha..for example, Callaway HX Hot is selling for $35.95 online, while it's normally $39.99 at all GT stores......hmmmmmm......:fingersx:
