Next time is two weeks away. September 3rd at Guelph Lakes first tee time is 9am.

Followed closely by the tour championship, Sept 17 & 18th at Paris Grand. Two rounds, incl dinner after second round.

Her family lives just outside Hilton Head so I'm going down to meet them and play for the long weekend.

Do I have it lucky? Yes to say the least. I won't be able to sleep for the whole week leading up.

I drove the ball like poop. The R7 is not making any new friends in my house just now. I hooked it all day to a 79.
As some of you can attest... you can't talk to a hook, it just keeps rolling till it hits something. Like a tree. :mad: and leaves you standing under a 3 foot high branch for your approach shot.

THIS people, is why I said the driver IS the most important club in the bag. I don't care how well you putt, if you're F'd off the tee your putting for a big number anyhow. JMHO

BTW, the R7 3wood isn't my friend either.

Curious what the winning score was and how many participants you had. Just trying to understand what goes on with these mini tours and what the level of play is.
Well thus far we're averaging around <30 players. Of those we have 1 - 24 handicap players. That being said, 24 players will have 10 or less handicap and the rest will be between 10 and 24.
Average winning score depends on the course and the weather. Its varied between -2 and +4.

Now that we've been running this anti-sandbagger system all year low net scores are around par. :eek: yeah, I know.. you're used to low net being 63. We're NOT a bunch of cheaters.

We are offering a couple of new things to attract more players.

1. Anyone can play any tournament for $25 more than the entry fee as a non-member.

2. Anyone can become a 2006 member and play the balance of 2005 at member rates and receive member discounts at The Golf Shop.

3. 2006 start times will be later in the morning (around 10 or 11) to allow for travel time for some of the farther away members.

Working on 2006 schedule now.

Any thoughts about how we could improve the tour or courses we should play?
