May 3rd I was packing for a five day golfing trip to Indiana and did a final check of my email before heading out. The Toronto Golf Nuts made my day - an official Happy Birthday from the group. Very classy, guys. Frankly, I had basically forgotten about it. (Mad cow? Too many birthdays to bother about another one? As George Burns said, "I'm at the stage I don't even buy green bananas.") Thank you gentlemen and ladies.

I've been a member for 6 months and this is my first post, with hopefully more to come. I found the site through a friend and enjoy it very much. It proves once again that I'm not the only golf wacko.

My golf background? I started at age 13 (at Lakeview) back when the earth was still cooling. Moved to L.A. and the television industry in my early 20's, now back in Canada. My handicap has has been a life-long roller coaster, from 18 to 6, back up to mid teens, now back down to 8. Consistency is the name of my game!

By the way, the Indiana trip was wonderful - a hidden treasure for golfers. I'll post about it in the proper forum.

Go to edit profile under "Quick Links". Under "Date of Birth" you will find "Privacy". Select "Display Age and Date of Birth".
Next year when it's your birth it will show up in the calendar and at the bottom of the home page. Then I will send out a public birthday greeting to you and say embarrassing things that aren't true (or maybe), give some birthday advice that's worthless, and everyone will chime in.
Can't ask for it any better. :D
