We're playin at Ballantrae..It's cold...it's raining...its the 15th hole (Par 3)
I'm soaked and freezing and just wanted to get the full 18 in and get to the clubhouse.
We approach and there is a 6some playing on the green. I don't really care if its 6 or 8 or 10 ..but when we see them all get on the green and they see us on the tee blocks ...they proceed to pull the pin....we had to yell to them that we are playing through. Come on guys. Do you actually think we are going to play the rest of the way behind you? There was nobody on the course at this point...You can play as long as you want (after we play through)
We get to the green...they let us play through...we try to chat with them but they totally ignore us (like they're pissed or something) paleeeese!:mad:

Not too serious an encounter..just a bit of a head shake thats all..i feel better now

Did they know you were playing through? Did they invite you to play through, did you ask or did you assume that they recognized your intention as you stepped up to the Tee-Box? I agree a sixer is ridiculous and they should have had the common sense to let your group play through. Unfortunatley common sense isn't so common anymore.
