I dont think i had heard about this one before, anyone know if it is any good and if the carts are free for the 18 hole championship course?..because i believe they are free for the 9 hole course....seems weird but who knows.

P.S... the membership looked pretty cheap aswell $1650 and if that includes a cart might be alright

let me know what you guys think of this course

I've played it a couple of times. It's a nice course. It's at Rutherford and Hwy 50.

I think I could compare it to Kleinburg, but not Glen Eagle. It's better than Rolling Hills, but not Copper Creek. It's better than Cardinal, but not St. Andrew's Valley.

I hope that gives you some perspective. It's a mature course with nice old, big trees.

I played it years ago before the new 9 holes - I was a bit too flat for my taste and with the new 9 in, very narrow.

I definitely agree with you here, I don't know how they can justify charging people the green fees they do and get away with it.

A minimum of 5 - 10 minute wait wait every single F###ing hole while golf balls are flying and dropping all around you on the tee block.

Go play somewhere else.

there are better courses out there for lot less money.

only redeeming quality was that their 'cart service personel' was the nicest lookin' one i've seen out of all the courses this year.

I beg to differ :p , Granite Ridge has some pretty "attractive scenery" offering alcoholic beverages all day long :D

you are one of those lucky guys whose their wives/fiances/gfs are willing to ride with you ... just like those lucky guys whose their other halves are willing to golf with them.

No matter what I say/do, she just won't do it, period.

That's one course that I haven't been to yet this year, so my remark still stands.
