Alright guys, date and time is set....now it's time to find out who wants to play. Start time is 10:45am with a crossover.....price is $52 to walk plus GST including use of the range. This also happens to be Canadian Open weekend, so if any of you are interested in sticking around afterwards to sit and catch what we can of the final round, Barry has offered to set something up in his banquet hall for us all with food and drinks....there will be an additional cost for this, would be determined when we see how much interest their is for this part of the day.

Funny, thanks for compliment. It is weird, albatross and i played last wknd in gale force winds in the valley of indian wells. I played super well too. Despite a triple bogey 7 on 9th hole I shot 39.
However Give me completely benign sunny day and the wheels come off.

As for group games, you are free to do something within your foursome....HOWEVER, we will be playing a variety of games that day that will be open to ALL participants of this event and give each and everyone playing a fair shot at winning something, hopefully :D.

Cost to play in this part of the event will be $30/player and will break down as follows:

$10 from each player going into the kitty for each par 3
$10 from each player going into the kitty for the long drive
$10 from each player going into the kitty for the skins game

You are by no means required to play in this part of the event, it's open to all those who wish to play and think it would really add to the competition and make people grind it out as their is something on the line for everyone to win. If their is plenty of those interested that really want to participate, but think it's a bit too expensive to toss in $30/player....then I am open to suggestions for cash into the pot but don't think it would be worth it to play for less than $5/match....so in other words, no less than $15/person.

Copetown is not a narrow course, plenty of forgiveness built into it.....but like any other course you play, just make sure to keep it in the short stuff.

This event will be played in such a manner that's it's fair for ALL players.....so in other words, I won't ask a 15 to play from the tips....but I won't force a 15 to not play from the tips, if they choose to do so themselves.

No, it's not the official flag....the Lion Rampant was a part of the Scotland the Brave Tartan though. I'm still learning about my heritage and one day hope to be able to travel to Scotland to see where my family came from. From what I've heard though....we loved sheep at one time or another. :D

Laddie, I always prefer that Bonnie Bruce Pennant myself - can be seen from miles away. I even wore the curent Scot Standard as our Celts (as a Graham/Macfarlane I qualify) in Kilts took on the bloody English for a Ryder Cup.

What happened to you boys at the TGN event? I see you got de-throned.....and at 74. Here's to hoping the TGN tourney isn't at BH next year....their is no forgiveness built into it and from the posts I've read and PM's I've receieved, not many enjoyed it because of the wind.

What happened to you boys at the TGN event? I see you got de-throned.....and at 74. Here's to hoping the TGN tourney isn't at BH next year....their is no forgiveness built into it and from the posts I've read and PM's I've receieved, not many enjoyed it because of the wind.

Put me in a group with funny people as then its easier for me to play well. cuz theres no pressure to hit that super amazing shot every shot.

We are currently sitting at 53 players, and would need 3 more to even it out as we had some last minute drop outs.

As for specials, unlimited use of the range is included with the greens fee, I will be posting tee times as soon as I hear back from Barry...he's been a busy dude with all the events he's got rolling through.
