I'm looking for a, hopefully free, golf software to track my rounds, handicap etc.

I've tried a couple ones but they were all about $30USD to purchase. Does anyone know of a free application I can use for Mac OS X?

Truthfully I don't know whether their score tracking program will do it but everything else they offer works.( on my Mac.) http://www.leaderboard.com/substart.htm

I'm working on a spreadsheet that I use on my pitifully slow Indigo....:cookoo:

It tracks everything except handicap... I just use the GAO site for that.

Is there a basic handicap calculator on that site? I'm not looking to do any formal registration through GAO or anything.

Nope, the GAO is Ontario's governing body for amateur golf, so to maintain the database of courses and players, it's gonna cost you. It only costs $25 to get entered into their Public Player program, pretty cheap imo.
