How does a Wasaga Beach trip on Sunday sound to you guys/gals? I'm thinking of a morning/mid-morning round at either Baywood or Marlwood, (FYI, BaywoodGolf.com (http://www.baywoodgolf.com/) or Marlwood.ca (http://www.marlwood.ca/)) then go for lunch, then pop a few cold ones on the beach and chill for the rest of the afternoon. It should be a fun time to enjoy the weekend, meet some TGN members as the weather is looking glorious for areas south of Georgian Bay.

If you're interested, please post back - so I can organize details. I would like to get a tally by the latest tomorrow afternoon. That way I can book the appropriate times and # of players. So far I'm looking at a 9:30 AM tee-off for Sunday, Aug. 21.

Tally as follows:

Bogey-Bev *confirmed
TehFlakes *confirmed

EDIT**

Green Fees as follows...

BAYWOOD ... $45
MARLWOOD ... $39

Never played or heard of either course!?

Is Baywood PRIVATE? Green Fee/Course looks nice, but don't you have to be a Member to get that Green Fee rate?
How long is Marlwood? There is hole-by-hole tour (and a cheesy video) on their site, but it doesn't state the yardage!?

Both are public courses. I think Marlwood is a 6200 track from the whites...both tracks are nearby the beach (on River Road).

Green fee's are very reasonable. C'mon people --- WASAGA!

What's up with you dudes with no cars? LOL --- I can carry 3 people in my car - but you guys need to get over to my place --- hehe, I don't think I can pick everyone up ... with the price of gas and all ---we should at least meet at a car-pool lot, then we can take one car, split expenses for gas, play some golf, have fun and go home.

Not having a car is the trade off for living in the city. It's too expensive to have both so you get one or the other.

If you are in Mississauga, maybe we can arrange a round next time I'm out visiting the family.

No worries - there is always a next time.

Maybe next weekend? I might be out there then to see the family before I go on vacation. I'll PM you when I find out. I never get to play in the west end so it would be great for a change.
