is that poking fun at the lack of posted tips or did a ton get sent to u privately? I too am interested as i have never gone and always wanted to. WIth my luck if i wait any longer, they will start moving it all around the country.
I really want to take it all in. Makes no sense why a golf addict like me has never seen professional golf live.

Haha...I was poking fun at the lack of posts.
You haven't seen Pro Golf Live? It makes for a great day. I'll guarantee it!

The only professional round I've ever been to was the Sunday when Tiger won the Canadian Open in 2000. It was amazing witnessing perhaps one of Tiger's best shots in person (6 iron from fairway bunker over water on 18 to clinch the championship). It's definitely something every golfer should witness once in their life. However, I'm not a big fan of live golf. Too much ground to cover and fans to contend with. You end up missing key moments in the tournament too easily. Give me golf in HD any day.
To the OP, sorry I don't have any tips for you. I went the traditional route and bought through Ticketmaster I believe.

I believe some GN's are marshalling and they get an extra free pass that's fully transferable for the week. Maybe someone will offer it up for a day?

if you know people at RBC, that's a good starting place.

RBC employees get a 30% discount off the regular ticket prices. They can buy for friends and family.

I am working on my business connections hard to get tickets with hospitality tent. The plan is to watch it on TV inside the tent where food and drinks are unlimited.
