Do you bring your iPod to golf course?
I just feel that golfers in general are too serious on golf course. I understand that they just want to respect the game, but wouldn't it be more fun if you can enjoy your favorite music while golfing?

hey ride, just as an aside, the rules of golf don't prohibit anyone from bringing headphones or earplugs during their round of golf provided it doesn't help them with their game (I know, it's corny). However banning such devices might be a one of the golf course's local rules.....this is cuz if someone yells 'FORE!' you most likely won't hear it....
I don't bring any walkman or such to the course cuz I'm normally golfing with other buddies and their comments and trashtalkings are entertainment enough for me...:D

RidetoGolf,
Personally if you played with me with an Ipod, walkman, etc while listening to your favourite music I would think of you as rude and socially handicapped. Golf is a social sport. You get together with your coworkers or friends and enjoy each others company. I also dont' think your fellow golfers would appreciate it either, even though they may not hear your music. Like Ego Woods said, if a balls heading for your noggen and you cant hear "FORE" then tough for you. Happy golfing!

I can you remember you almost lost your nuts when Stablefordvet hit you in the thigh...I've also been hit by an errand chip shot by Mok...so I would recommend playing with your ear wax removed.

Well if you were playing on your own I don't see a reason why you couldn't bring the ipod. But if you are playing with friends why would you? I think it would be pretty rude if one of my friends listend to music while golfing with us. But thats just me.

like we just said, if the ppl playing behind you are hackers, or long ball hitters, just watch out if you're ipod-ing.
