What does everyone pay for a round?
2006 ~ $83 (~45 rounds)
2007 - $56 (~100 rounds, includ BH Membership)
2008 - $55 (21 rounds so far)
I played Copper Creek, a lot of St Andrews Valley, Silver lakes prime time in 2006 with fewer bread and butter rounds.

So far this year 5 rounds at $55 per round....played Woodington lakes, Osprey, Pipers, lakeview and Copetown....
Got the priv play card and save 20%...so that is huge in my opinion....

Missed out on that pri play card this yr and it sounds like it would save some decent $$$.
Played Woodington new course a # of times, copetown, watson glen, copper creek a few times, tangle creek a few times and going to pipers thursday.
Hate paying for the gas when I go to futher places but I think it's just part of life at the moment, won't stop me from going to cobble or the muskoka's to play, but it does add a few extra $$$$ on the day.

20% adds up..especially when you play a $90 course, that really isnt worth $90.
Playing St Andrews Valley this weekend and $89 less 20% is good by me....

I am at around 15 rounds this year and I have yet to pay over $50 (without a cart) except for a round at Deer Ridge.

I've only played around 10 rounds so. I'm averaging just over $31 per round but that's due to my making use of various discounts. Without those discounts my average would be just over $67 per round.

GTA Golf Club indeed offers the best deal in town. I am a member and each of my included 30+ rounds through the GTA Golf Club works out to $27. I got the "Eagle" package.
Also, a couple of days ago GTA Golf Club had 2 for 1 offer for its members and their friends at Eagles Nest - just $70 per person :D There is no better option to pay less for your golf in the GTA :shhh:

Are you including the cost of the "Eagle" package in your average round cost? If you aren't and divide the $899 by 30 round and add it to the $27 per round you currently work out to, you are acutally paying $57 per round.
If you are including it then great! However, unless I understand incorrectly, you still can't play anything better than Indian Wells without paying a substantial premium each round (i.e. Piper's Heath would be an extra $35 per round, Nobleton Lakes would be $50 per round, etc., correct?).
So your average cost could go up quite a bit unless you didn't mind playing all 30 of your rounds on Castlemore, Cardinal, Mill Run, Bradford Highlands, Westview, Watson's Glen, Maples of Ballantree, Annandale, Lowville & Indian Wells.
Don't get me wrong, that's not bad for $899, however if I get out 30 times this year I would like a few nicer options than that and wouldn't really want to play all of those courses 3 or so times each. In my opinion, the Greens Fee Passport or Privplay are two superior options that are cheaper with better courses to choose from.

I'll definitely let orbeat comment on his price per round.
However, so far this year we have offered our members some great "specials" in addition to the membership they signed up for.
Examples:
May 27th: $55 @ St. Andrews Valley (cart in)
June 2: Eagles Nest (2 for 1 @ $140: $70 per person)
With many, many more to come.
We are very proud of our partner club list and we will continue to offer our members golf at prices that are simply unattainable elsewhere.
Money back guarantee.

$50.44, excl. taxes over nine rounds this spring (7 weekdays at Tam O'Shanter, 1 weekend at Rebel Creek, with a cart, and 1 weekend at Osprey Valley.)
As I aim to play at Osprey Valley about twice a month, my average cost will increase. The price of admission is almost double that of Tam and is nearly 50 km farther but it's too nice of an experience to pass over.

I'm just mentally crunching some numbers at what I spent per game last year. This would have to include gas, food, bar and equipment purchases averaged out. Conservatively, $120/game X 35

I didn't include munchies, booze, tips, or any equipment because they can all skew the price quite heavily.

I am including the price of the package. The math is simple: I paid $945 (tax included) and received 35 included rounds at any of the regular partner courses. It's $27 per round if I don't play at their 4 "premium" partner clubs such as Eagles Nest or Whistle Bear. I'd have to pay extra to play those, but still saving alot compared to the regular course rates. When I use up all my included rounds I still be paying just $30 to play Watson's Glen any day of the week, for example.
So far this season I played 28 rounds, only 12 through the GTA Golf Club. I don't mind playing Mill Run, Watsons Glen, Westview, Glen Eagle, or Maples of Ballantrae again and again for this price. I usually play these courses on the weekends in prime time when the regular public rates are $60-70. These savings allow me to play more golf and I can still afford to play at the top expensive courses outside of my membership, clubs like Bigwin Island, Deerhurst Highlands, and Bear Mountain in BC.
The PrivPlay is a great program too but not as good as GTA Golf Club. PrivPlay membership doesn't offer 10-20% off at Nevada Bobs or $70 round at Eagles Nest ;)
P.S. I don't work for the GTA Golf Club, I'm just a happy member :D Note, only 2 membership options - Eagle and Albatross really save you tons of money. I personally don't think their inexpensive Par and Birdie membership options are as good of a deal compared to Eagle or Albatross.
