My Brother-in-law is coming down from Ottawa on June 6th.
We're playing St. Andrews Valley on the 6th, Tangle Creek on the 7th, Royal Ashburn on the 8th.
First time I've played back to back to back in years so I'm looking forward to some golf, nice weather and hopefully, not too much rain (I think T-showers are in the forecast)

I'd read the reviews on Royal Ashburn before heading out to play it.....great course, but the greens are in rough shape.

I'm playing Silver Lakes tomorrow ('cause it's my birthday). Then I have a sneaking suspicion that my wife is taking me up north for the weekend and I'll get to play once or twice up there ('cause it's my birthday) . Did I mention that it's my birthday?? :hyper:

My round is with a business partner, they will let me know by the end of the day. After all, they are footing the bill, I am just suggesting to them where I want to play :)
We should definitely get a game together one day...

Supposed to be warm down here as well. Playing St Andrews by the Sea on Saturday. And back to Riverbend on Sunday. We have more than our share of mosquitoes and black flies. Those of you travelling east this year, can bring back more than your usual alloted quota.

SC no good in morning, they have a members tourny or something can't play till afternoon, but somewhere else we could, then golfing at 3:30 with Fresh, you can see if you can join there. But we can play somewhere in the morning.
And OK about Pines, If Dixon confirms just book it, then let me know cuz I am in either way

My tee time is around 1 pm, we haven't decided which course to play. But most likely Heathland.
I imagine when I see a naked Irish dude running down one of the fairways, I could assume it is you?

K .. he will let me know today of the tee times. I can try for EH today to see if the pro will release those morning times as i need to play in the morning.
****Update*****
Ok Matt i've booked a 4some at Emerald Hills for 7:34am. I've invited Dixon and he'll get back to me if he wants to join us. Also TGN that leaves one spot open in my foursome. Unfortunately the guest rate will be at prime which is $125. So if you would like to join us great or if any clublink member would like to play i'd be happy to have you join us.
If you would like to join us please contact Matt (TGN: braithwaite) as i will not be near my computer this afternoon and will need to know by 5pm.

Wish I could play Sat but at least will play Piper's Heath Sunday morning if it isn't called off due to T-Storms. Walked that course for the first time with PingNut last Monday. Nice course all around.
We can't complain about the heat now after waiting so long for Summer to start.

I honestly cannot remember...nothing in my mind other than that damn last hole....argggggh...is it ok? Cost?

It was a hot but manageable day at Osprey...drank lots of water throughout.
Right after, without a chance to head home for a shower, met up with Sharkey at a shopping plaza parking lot to complete a club transaction. Ended up gabbing about golf on the curb side for almost 2hours.
Off I go to Taboo in about 1 hour....

Played Mystic today.....My highlight of the day...Birdie 10 (From the white tees) Woo-hoo. Hit a great drive...then best 3 wood of the summer, wedge to within 2 feet of the pin.
Still playing my crap front 9 with a much better second 9.
Boy it was hot out there....I'm assuming sunscreen, bug spray and sweat don't mix well. Still got a nice burn! :(

Well, I finally played National Pines. That course is really really nice. I found the greens a little slow and bumpy but they've had quite a bit of rain of late so thats kind of expected.
I could play that course for the rest of my life and not get bored.
We played Settler's Ghost on Saturday and although the greens dont hold AT ALL, I also really enjoyed the course. Its far cheaper than NP and requires a cart to play unless you're a billy goat. I recommend giving it a go.
During my Friday round I twinged something in my left shoulder and spent the rest of the w/e in pain but trying to play. I don't recommend THAT and boy does it screw your chances to hitting decent shots. I wonder if this is retirement from golf.
After all that golf biz was done I spent the rest of the w/e jet skiing. I highly recommend THAT. It was a BLAST !!! :D :hyper:
