Just a great week !

Last Wednesday I played with some friends at emerald Hill's in Ottawa Not a great round until we reached a par five on the back. My driver wasn't working well (I guess I was just tired and was quiting on it) anyhow got a 3 wood and had a terrible shot (about 180) into the rough,. Proceeded to wack the back out of there about 40 yrs and then I'm hitting 3 from about 240. Decided to hit the 3 wood again and made great contact, ball went into the green and I lost it. Got to the green and looked all over, though I was pass the green and into the bushes ! was getting ready to declare it lost and drop when one of my playing partners checked the hole..... eureka !! I got an eagle !!!


Then today I shot an 86 at Eagle Glen .... had a solid round.

Golf gods are looking after me, hopefully they continue to do so all summer....

I wish I could say this was a great week for me though; I played my two worst rounds of the year back to back this weekend; saturday/sunday.

Sunday's round however, consisted of me and a friend and 2 13-14 yr old kids that were pick ups in our group. One of them had a great swing, and hit an unreal 3-wood on a par 5 for his first ever eagle putt. He just lipped out, but tapped 'er in for one of his two birdies on the day
