Hi everyone-my name is Matthew and I am in the golf club business. I am VERY interested in buying USED golf clubs mostly from the "big name" companys including-Callaway, Ping, Taylor Made, Mizuno, Nike etc..and love clubs from all ages. Individual woods, iron sets, wedges, putters, men's ladies, juniors, right hand, left hand=I HAVE BOUGHT THEM ALL!! I have recently returned to the golf club business and am looking to GREATLY INCREASE my club inventory from fellow local GTA golfers. I pay CASH for all purchases. I can almost INSTANTLY give you a price or a price range that I can pay for one or all of your golf clubs-if you provide me basic information like Brand and model-for example Callaway War Bird.. I believe you will find my prices VERY fair. I am centrally located, in the Yonge and St Clair area and am willing to drive to meet you if we have a deal. With me-we can make an amicable, respectful, positive cash deal. I aim to be YOUR FIRST source that you contact and ultimately use to capture cash for your older or even newer/modern, but replaced or soon to be replaced golf clubs.
I THANK YOU ALL for reading this and I HOPE to hear from YOU VERY SOON. HAPPY GOLFING and ALWAYS BE WELL!

I am only one email or one phone call away.

Hi Matthew,

I thought you wouldn't buy left handed clubs as you didn't think you could re-sell them?

In my quick dealing with this person by e mail he was always friendly and positive and he said that he felt we could make a deal on the clubs I was offering up but later declined as he said he couldn't re-sell LH gear.

we were suppose to meet this evening but he had to reschedule, waiting on him to reply back with a reschedule date.

I hope his name isn't matthew green.
Had a guy with that name that contacted me about an ft-3 awhile ago on craigslist. Then when we spoke he kept asking what else I had, when i reiterated just the ft-3 he kept going on and on about how he is trying to gather lots and lots of golf stuff for a business venture but never followed thru on the one club I had.
At one point i offered a stupid price on two drivers if bought together (a back up I had) and nothing.

He was polite at first but wasn't impressed he did not follow thru. Even to say he changed his mind and had no interest, just no follow up.

huh? what is my contention? DId I not make it clear. I hope he isn't the same guy. The guy I dealt with was named matthew green and after promising to get back to me he did not bother. The guy who contacted me was gathering clubs for a business.
The guy here is gathering clubs for a business. The guy is named matthew. Hope its not the same. Clear? My contention? The guy here sounds alot like my guy and says he will be amicable and great to deal with. If he is the same guy I could care less that he paid to be a sponsor. If I deal with someone and am not impressed. I can express my opinion. May not be the same guy but sounds....an awful lot like him.
as a member here I am allowed to have my opinion. YOu think paying to be a sponsor should change my opinion?

I have dealt with Matthew on several different occasions. Stand up guy and will continue to do business with him.

I use him to help clientelle sell some of their unwanted equipment. He uses PGAvalueguide to get his purchase prices from. He then sells the clubs through alternative means as a business. Much like many retail stores who purchase used clubs do.

Hmm...funny, I had no success with him whatsoever through several emails. Unless you are next door to him, or will drop off to his door with no charge, etc etc....sell elsewhere. He contacted me asking about my FS threads....and left me hanging. :nono:

MY personal experience wasnt a warm and fuzzy one.

JeffI also go by the pga price guide when looking at buying used clubs, this is just a guide for me.
