You'd probably have more luck with this post if you put it into the find playing partners section. ;)

As much as I can't stand Lionhead....$150 for golf/lunch/steak and salmon dinner is a pretty good deal. If it includes power cart and use of range then you are laughing.

Exactly what is your issue with Lionhead. Legends is a great course, though it can beat you up.... Course is in great condition, they have improved the practice facilities. The problem is after Glen Abbey, they are probably the oldest high end golf course in the GTA, and probably pay for it.

Kaneff has some really good deals and should be applauded for it. Bond Head, Angus Glen & Wooden Sticks also offers some good deals and should be recognized, whereas Eagle's Nest & Copper Creek the other "high end" courses offer little for the daily golfer.

That is the typical response form people that can’t play and are clueless. The legends course requires a lot of carries over 150 yds...these sobs that change clubs on 210 yards shot because they can't decide between a 6 iron or 5 iron, when their best drive is 180 yd slice, play the legends and say its unfair!

What post are you responding to? I agree that is the issue with Legends.... The carries on 1, 11, 12 and 18 are terrible and do require a good tee shot to put you position (for a mid handicapper who hits it 220) to at least clear the hazard. Many other very tough shots and narrow greens that run fast too.

Range use is free now for anyone with a tee time. I actually had a company tourney down the road at Streetsville and went to Lion to use the range. No one even questioned me. Hit balls for about an hour. Good bunker and short game area too.

I would suggest you watch what you say.... I think your comments are unnecessary.... people are entitled to their opinion of a course. Their is no need to make statements such as clueless and sob to people that you do not know especially being a member of TGN with 14 posts...

Good deal for a really tough course... PERIOD!

As opposed to the derogatory comment about $150 and Lionhead??? I think the response was due in part to smart *** comments like that about Lionhead. I beleive much of the negative response is based on Legends being a tough course and at times slow because mid/high handicappers who don't know their game can back up the course easily.

Maybe Landlord should be the one who watches what he says.

Reading through this thread I can't really tell who he is referring to. So no harm no foul I guess.

Geez. He was just joking. Based on past posts, I thought the dislike for lionhead was long rounds due to groups backed up. I could be wrong.
