i just saw a re-run of the 2003 long drive championships. wow, these people can really hammer the ball.

top guy - 402 yards
top gal - 320 yards

I would give up beer to be able to hit it that far .... okay, maybe just on weeknights.

yep they do...also through plywood and other things...most of these guys though don't have "game"...they're just big and have huge club head speeds way faster than the pro's...plus, their shafts are extra long and custom made...their clubs break all the rules of golf...hahaha...but impressive to see a ball fly 400 yrds..

Depends what u mean by not having any game....if ur talking about not being able to play pro or nationwide or something similar, I would agree....but I've seen some of the long drive competitors play golf and they're already very close to playing scratch golf, it not better....

agreed ego. some of the competitors work as caddies and are indeed scratch golfers.
